i keep having this dream where im driving a car but everything is like, super-sized. huge wheel, huge seat, huge doors, huge pedals i can barely reach. I feel in the dream like I have been shrunk. im the same age i am in real life, im just smaller. and in the dream i find driving the car very overwhelming but im also exhilarated and having a good time swerving down the road because i dont know how to drive. lol i have an idea what it could be in reference to (my first real serious relationship) but i thought id ask and see what anyone else thinks
From my understanding dreams of driving a car is generally referring to your 'journey' through life, the car being you, the driver being the controlling factor in your life path. So from my interpretation of this set of symbols, do you: - feel smaller than you actually are (everything seems really big); not physically but in terms of your influence on your own destiny? Do you feel like you have a big influence on what happens to you? - enjoy life (you are having a good time) but are overwhelmed by it. Do you struggle to follow a path / maintain control on what happens to you (swerving all over the road)? - statement: you don't know how to drive. Could this be a reference to not knowing how to drive your life to attain your lifes goals?
I would say, for the most part, the first and third apply to me mostly. There's a lot of things going on in my life right now that kind of feel like they are not my choice but are going to happen no matter what I want. I have no control. And I haven't even gotten my permit yet, and I feel awkward sometimes in social situations as if I don't fit in really anywhere so that could also be true because I don't know how to attain my goals when I'm very introverted in a sense. Thanks for your interpretation I definitely gained some insight here.
I'm the same Princess. Introverted, generally feel awkward in social situations. Especially when meeting new people. Never took control of my life, went with the flow sort of thing. Thats changing, slowly. As long as you do enjoy that journey. Me, I am learning how to drive (metaphorically). As for driving litterally, it is a really handy thing, gives you wings, at least where I am from where the city is spread thin, can be hard to get around. A liberating experience.
