Does anyone have any recommendations for a good quality printer/scanner? I'm looking for one that is accurate enough for photo work. Is photo printing a specialist printer thing, or would I be able to find one that can print quality photos as well as normal printing jobs? I've been looking at the Officejet 6210 All-In-One. Any comments on this one? Thanks for any help
a few months ago i tried the officejet, it's a good one.....and 4 others...bought them @ office depot, brought them home, used them a few days, returned them if i wasn't totally happy...ended up with an epson stylus there's actually not a dimes difference in them, as long as you're looking at the same class
The best printer in the universe is made out of a paper and a pencil, and is capable of such raw power that it can completely and utterly capture your thoughts themselves in a perfect expression of beauty. But seriously, I'm just saying that because I don't know shit about printers.
I too bought an Epsom Stylus. A recent TV show, they came out top, however each photo print costs a bit more compared too other brands but the quality of Epsom is good, even more so if you can afford using their own brand ink cartridges which are quite expensive. Think it's about £1.60 per A4 photo print but you can get other printers where it's only 80p per print.
i use a Samsung ML-1610 Laser Printer and found it very good value for the price of it. i dont need to print in colour so its not really an issue with me that its in black and white.
NEMISIS... in the states we have a office supply chain valled office depot....i buy there store brand of cartidges for slightly 1/2 the cost of authentic epson's you may find a source that sells generic cartridges as well...
Yes Esty I too buy these cheap ones and imo work fine for what I need it for. However on my particular printer buying these cheap cartridges, they can't indicate to you, how much ink is left in the reservoir unlike the original expensive ones. No great loss but handy.
Dude! GET the Officejet! I'm still using my 5 yr old T45 model! It features Color fax ability. Schweet Machina!
1024 X 768 + Print or scan look for the highest resolution either way, scanner/printer wise. Fundamental stuff
I have an Epson Stylus Photo 925. It is the biggest POS I've owned. You have to clean the nozzels every time you use it. You waste a 1/2 a cartridge just clearing the nozzels EVERYTIME you use it. It can't reproduce reds worth a crap. New it was over $200 and comes nowhere close to being as good as my $50 HP deskjet 3820 was.
