Hyea all Jycee is doing some work for an award ceremony and he needs to think of some music they can use as people walk up to collect their awards. What music would you like to receive an award to or think would be cool to? You really really should use the Rebel ceremony music from the end of Episode 4 when Luke and Han are being awarded medals. It would make an old man like me very happy. I can send if you don't have it
Oh, and as an experiment... I think you should test the theory that music really can dramatically affect the mood of a scene. For one award, instead of playing happy bouncy music, play Moonlight Sonata. See if the award recipient becomes less enthusiastic about his award as a result. Do it...FOR SCIENCE!!!!!
Do you want it to be cool, or is cheesy ok too?? There are the obvious ones like Simply the Best - Tina Turner, We Are the Champions -Queen, Nobody Does It Better - Carly Simon etc. Always adds a bit of humour ot an evening if you bring out the cheesy classics! Personally I think you should play the wedding march. It would be so funny, as the walk up the aisle to collect the award, it would definitely throw them anyway. That would crack me up.
