We had a nice palm tree about 4 or 5 ft tall. It had 4 babies growing off of the bottom of his stalk/trunk. Vandals picked him up and smashed him to the ground the other night. We sliced off the babies and planted those. We also sliced above the crushed portion of his trunk and have replanted the his main trunk. Will it root in the soil? Or will the main portion probably die?
