Anyone here been to the Cook Islands? Rarotonga, the best kept secret in the South Pacific, is the ultimate tropical vacation spot. It makes Hawaii and Tahiti look as interesting as a parking lot. In the first place, it's more beautiful than both of them put together and it has the best qualities of both places; like Hawaii it's cheap and speaks English. Like Tahiti, it's friendly and has turquoise coral lagoons. Raro's scenery alone was making me orgasm in my pants like water from a broken fire hydrant. I've never seen so much bougainvillia in my life; there was not one place you could look where you didn't see big pink explosions of it all over the place. The whole mood and vibe there was quiet, relaxing, welcoming. I want to go back there so bad I dream about it at night.
WOOHOO!! Pity Rarotonga's not part of NEW ZEALAND... anyhoo... I wish I'd been there... My parents went to Fiji a few years back but refused to take my brother and I. Hmph... gipped.
Hey hey hey! Tahiti ain't half bad for us French speakers. I've spent plenty of time over there, great place, great people. Never been to Raro, sounds nice.
just like the queen doesn't rule us we don't rule the pacific islands in our province. they use our money, hence our economic infrastructure, they use our high courts, they may use many other things we offer, but otherwise are indipendant. Doug
Yeah, they're "independant", but only in the way poor, starving students are "independant" - i.e. they hang off someone/thing's skirt like a child.
LOL yeah exactly what i mean they don't do what their folks tell them to do but they use their money non the less LOL Alltaken
