I always joke with the haircut ladies when they run the trimmers down my neck that if they keep going they'll be cutting hair all way to my heel

Is air conditioning that common where u live?
Here, no one, and i mean NO ONE has air conditioning in their home. So basically when the weather's really hot u have to go to a mall to enjoy AC coolness.

I have a window unit for my bedroom but havent used it for 2 years because the neighbors are noisy and it lets the sound in

ceiling fan over the bed was the best idea I ever had

My last haircut was over a year and a half ago. I almost always wear it tied back now.

What they need for you is electric hedge trimmers. :D

It's very common here. When I was little we didn't getn an AC until I was almost in my teens tho. And since we moved to New England we haven't had central AC. But I have a window fan, and a wind machine that sits next to me on my bed.

I have a window AC unit, but my wife hid it under her piles of shit. She has finally been cleaning up a bit lately tho, so it may reappear soon.

Yes. Most everyone in Georgia has air conditioning in their home and car.

It hasn't gone over 100 degrees during June in Atlanta since 1954.

It hasn't been as hot as it is projected to be this weekend since 1980.

But still, mid-to upper 90's is normal Summer weather here, plus factor in the heat indices.

Friday's heat index will be at least 103F and Saturday's heat index will be at least 107F.

Here's a chart for monthly average temps in Paris: http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/vacationplanner/vacationclimatology/monthly/FRXX0076

And here's one for Atlanta: http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/vacationplanner/vacationclimatology/monthly/USGA0028

Boston's not so bad. We get some clusters of very hot, muggy days occasionally in the summer, but usually not for long. So lots of people here consider AC unnecessary. Here's the temperature chart for Boston:

    http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/vacationplanner/vacationclimatology/monthly/USMA0046

In Tucson, Arizona, where my parents and one sister live, people can die without AC or some form of desert summer survival skills. Here's the chart for Tucson:

    http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/vacationplanner/vacationclimatology/monthly/USAZ0247

But of course, as "they" say, "It's a dry heat." ;)

It is important to note that 65% of people surveyed believe that Barack Obama is better suited to handle an alien invasion than Mitt Romney.

Yes, Hubs traveled to Tucson and said the lack of humidity made the temperatures much more tolerable than if we had the same temp here in Atl.

I survived 121 degrees in Phoenix without A/C... It was a bitch, and others did die that week... but it can be done.
