I'm too lazy to search through these forums and look for the topic I need so, I'll add more to the forum by asking question you've probably heard. By the way this is my first post and my names Alejandro, just call me ando. anygways, I've had my dreads for about 3 months now, right now they're at the point where I just want them to form already because theres so much loose hair. And I think some of them just arent forming right. Well thats not my question, my question is, is it alright to leave rubber bands at the root? Because my hair was starting to dread itself on the base with other dreads and I couldnt really seperate them so I put rubber bands on them. Another question is I used some crazy dreadlock mix that someone posted on these forums and it worked, now...should I put wax on my hair? I really dont like using it but would it help? my other question was....I think thats about it really. any help would be great. PEACE AND KNOWLEDGE!

ayo, I forgot to ask to, I got this hook that is supposedly gets the loose hairs and pull them into the dread, is that a good thing to use as well? and as for rubber bands I do use them so I guess I'll stop, I got beads around here somewhere...

yeah you can use the hair thingy. you really don't need it, though. the hair will dread eventually.

thank you guys! but theres one more! whenever I read about how to take care of dreads all I read is wash them, spray salt water on them and you should have dreads in no time. Is there anything I'm supposed to be doing with my hair at all, I hear that its good to play with it but how am I supposed to play with it, I have no idea what I'm supposed to do!
