My X-Hoe cheated on me. We were dating for about 5 years and lived together. We also drove to work together. She had bad credit i had good credit, her driving record was clean my was bad. So when we bought a new car i went on her insurance. The deal was you pay for car insurance i'll pay the car payment. So after she cheated we broke up and i was still on her insuarnce for a few months after, and totaled the car. Should i pay what her insruace went up now that we are broken up? or should i just say @#%$ her like she did me when she cheated??????
well i suggest you pay cause you are the one that got into the wreck and you are old enough to know better and you dont want to be petty like her do ya?
Yup!! you should pay her.. People make mistakes and do things that are wrong... But two wrongs dont make it right!! Be the better person and give her the money...
you should pay the insurance up until it would have been time to get the policy renewed. After that you should make some sort of offer to help her pay the extra money you racked up for her in insurance bills. Just because she cheated on you it does not make it ok to not keep financial promises made. you broke up with her, that should be enough. If you decide to fuck her over, you're just sinking to her level. I mean, you DID total the car, and it's not fair that she should have to pay for your mistake after you have broken up. That would be like if you had to pay child support to a baby that came form her cheating on you. Her mistake, but you have to pay for it. there's nothing she can do legally to prove you made this promise, but I would think you can be the bigger person and not stick her with financial troubles AFTER you two have called it quits.
thanks for the advice everyone. I will do the right thing. I wanted to make sure i wasnt getting taken. Its funny all my guy friends say dont give her a dime, and all the girls i've asked including you 3 said give her the money.
if you didnt pay for your accident you would be total scum and no girl who knew about it with any selfrespect would date you. why not just get your own insurance its a pain to put your bills in your name after a break up but who really wants an ex getting your bills
