What the heck?!?!?! What were they protesting, why were they protesting... pretty much tell me anything you know about this, because I am so utterly confused. I thought that people would be for the people that are against what they are against. Does that make sense? Well, tell me anything. ~Madeline
Like the Republicans, the Democrats are an evil, corporate-ruled party that does not represent the bulk of average - though intelligent and informed - working-class Americans, other than those who buy into the feeble, half-assed, extremely plastic and insincere rhetoric they spew that wins so many gullible idiots over. Bush and Kerry are very much alike. Kerry is actually to the right of Bush on some issues, if you can believe it. Kerry has no plans for bringing our troops home from Iraq if elected, nor has he proposed any sort of plan or exit-strategy for Iraq. If Kerry is elected into office, things will probably be much like they are now, except we'll have someone that is slightly more intelligent and articulate lying to us. Sorry, but it's pretty naive to think that either you support the Democrats or you support the Republicans. Many enlightened and informed people loathe both parties and can see through the games they play.
Well I can see that once again liberals can't get their shit together and back one person. Bush should easily win another 4 years. It isn't John Kerry that the world is protesting. I would rather see a guy owned by a ketchup company as president rather than the oil companies. "We are rich, we are white, and we aren't going to take it anymore!" http://www.gorewonflorida.org If you support Bush, then DO NOT VOTE FOR JOHN KERRY! http://www.johnkerry.com/index.html
Many of the protesters were right wing people, protesting various things, including gay marriage, and pro-Iraq war stuff. Plus the fact that, as has been noted, both the Dem.s and the Repub.s are expressions of the Man and les responsive to the people than to the dollar. On the other hand, Bush is has a completely un-American view of government. His view is that seperation of powers allows secrecy from the other branches of government. Originaly seperation of powers was set up to preclude secrecy and prevent the need for absolute trust in the Executive. Both the Dems and the Repubs may be evil, but Bush is a far greater evil than Kerry.
