Wouldn't it make more sense for our sign to correspond to the date we were conceived rather than the date we were born?
I suppose it all depends on when precisely you consider life to be, well, life. Astrology isn't exactly a hard science either dude. And this may be a better question to put into the ASTROLOGY forum, rather than random thoughts, n'est pas?
i mainly figure that when you're born, that's the first input you get to society and interaction, and thus has the greatest input to the sort of person you are. i'm not relaly sure about all those stars and stuff.
well, you know, like i'm a cancer. when i was born, it was really hot and people were getting together, barbequeing and partying and taking it easy next to the nearest body of water. i'm a water sign who loves to cook, entertain and take care of people and is averse to working. spring signs are more active, aggressive and lively. fall signs are more motivated and geared towards getting things done, which makes sense, considering getting ready for winter. then the winter signs can be moody but extremely social.
well put, I was about to say something along those lines... It's weird about astrological signs... I used to believe in it a bit but now not so much... It mainly turned me off because according to astrology, my husband and I are polar opposites and should NEVER be together, but that's very not true.
woah. interesting. Ok so Im a picean .... and yeah I love the spring and easter...... Im sensitive because I lived in Alberta and the chinooks spoiled me to good weather and then all of a sudden the weather would change and I'd get all pissed off because I was unprepared.
well, you know, it just kinda seems to me that people are more influenced by things directly around them than something so very far away. and planets in certain houses and all that may just be more of a calendar of what's likely to be happening in the world around them instead of something that's directly influencing them. but i try to keep an open mind, you never know.
