who doesn't love tarantino movies? i think their awesome, but i still havent seen Jackie Brown. i know ill like it, especially because of the lead actress. my favorite of his movies is probably reseviour dogs, with kill bill vol.1 at a close second. pulp fiction is classic, but i can never get into the bruce willis part.

I bloody love Tarantino movies, he's one of the only truly good and talented directors out there, I'm yet to see a bad movie off him.

I see a strong likelihood, based on his movies, that Q.T. has a foot fetish, and makes it evident in just about every film.

In Pulp Fiction, there is a closeup of Uma Thurman's sole as she stands waiting for John Travolta. There is also the talk of foot massages and their sensuality/sexuality.

In From Dusk Til Dawn, Q.T. himself sucks the toes of an exotic dancer.

In Kill Bill, we are treated to a lonnng scene involving the (somewhat gnarly) toes of Uma Thurman.

In Jackie Brown, we get to see Bridget Fonda's feet up close and personal too. (Wasn't Q.T. involved in that film?)

I say, more power to him! I love to see feet in movies!

Check out my gallery for feet-related pictures, too! :p

    Blue skies,
    -Jeffrey

This is why you are cool man. Tarantino IS one of the best if not the best directors of our time. I have seen all his movies and love each one. My fave is Reservoir Dogs "Stuck in the Middle with you" is one of my fave scenes. I also loved "Across 110th Street" in Jackie Brown at the end of the movie for its poignance. The fight between O-Ren Ishii and The Bride at the House of Blue Leaves was my favorite in Kill Bill until I saw her kill bill with the five-palm technique. The dance contest was my second favorite scene from Pulp Fiction. My fave was the "shut up or i'll kill motherfuckin' every last one of you" scene.

I don't love his movies. I think Tarantino is vastly overrated.

Reservior Dogs and Pulp Fiction were good, but I think the lastest movie of his that I saw, which was the first Kill Bill, is one of the most corny, overblown movies I've seen. I couldn't even get half way through it before I had to take it out.

I don't like Hollywood moves that are all style and no substance.

I percieved Kill Bill as one large parody of hollywood based martial arts movies.

I don't really care for Quentin Tarantino, ..I thought Pulp Fiction was entertaining but the last time I saw it was in the theater when it came out.

Well, it's a parody which derives from several genres - 70's martial arts flicks predominately. He also incoprates a lot of spaghetti westerns, anime, and other influences as well.

    Still, it doesn't faze me.

    Pulp Fiction is a classic.

Kill Bill volume 1 was way overrated, and I was dissapointed. Haven't seen Volume 2. Is it a vast improvement?

im gonna have to disagree on kill bill vol.1 being all style and no substance, but only by saying that it basically comes together in vol.2. i think vol.1 by itself would have definately been too vague so far as emotion and background goes, but i think that vol.2 definately gave it the extra heart that it needed. they were kind of counterparts, if you will.

i love kill bill vol. 1 and pulp fiction. uma thurman is amazing in both. i thought quentin was great in desperado if anyone saw that. as unintelligent as it sounds i think extended fight scenes like in vol. 1 would have greatly improved vol. 2. it was good but it could have been mind-blowing

the foot thing is slightly worrying...

QT is nothing more than just style on top of style and a little more style. There is no substance to it really and that to me doesn't make him such a great director. Oh and another reason why i dont like him is because he gave travolta a second wind. Hopefully this doesn't happen with Carradine...

You don't have to read this part i'm on a stoned ramble type of mood and at the same time, lazy to type so it really isn't rambling but whatever... Anyway im listening to some hip hop right now and what i realilze and don't understand about some of his audience is that they rip on rap and hip hop but then love QT. QT's style of filming is like today's hip hop if you think about it. Guns, drugs, vulgar language, sex, gangstas, thugs, bling, and a lot of "borrowed" oversampled material but not from songs but from older movies (actually now that i think about it, he does use songs). These are some of the reasons that are always brought up in the discussion to why rap is "crap." Yeah man, rapping about your ride or who got shot in your neighborhood is dumb and ignorant and all that type of shit. But see QT is not dumb like these stupid rapper fucks. QT can break down the true meaning behind the song Like a Virgin and talk about deep shit like what they really call a quarter pounder with cheese in france.

QT rocks. Kill Bill was the best movie i've seen in AGES. Although its not the best, my fav is Resevoir Dogs cos i seem to be able to watch it over and over and its still good.

Rent Jackie Brown right now...you will love it...right now!! lol
