Queensryche - Geoff Tate Bald...did he have Cancer?

    recently, about 3 years ago Geoff Tate from Queensryche played a number of shows bald. Now as many of you know he has been a chain smoker to the tune of like 2 packs a day his whole career. I have been looking around all over the net to find out if he had cancer/chemo. No luck, except a vauge hint in an article written more recently - but still nothing to go on.

    Does anyone know if Geoff was sick and I managed to miss it? If so, thats terrible and I wish himtwice the good wishes I would normally wish this legend/icon of metal.

    he smokes 2 packs a day and still sings notes like queen of the reich? wow.
