People here seem to keep on pumping out them old conspiracy theories.
    But why?

That’s the question people should be asking.

    **

I mean many of the conspiracy theories are old hat, the same old same old, for example the Jewish plans to take over the world has elements in it that go back to medieval times, if not further.

Others like the old chestnut about security services and government being behind terrorist bombings I’ve also heard before they read like re-hashes of the same theories that circulated about the IRA bombings from 30 year or so ago.

So the conspiracy theories are not in themselves that interesting.

But what is very interesting is why someone would be pushing such theories?

    **

Let us say that everything in these stories was true, what does Pressed Rat or any other conspiracy theorist want us to do about it?

I mean they must be passing on these theories for some reason, right?

If they are trying to inform us, what are they informing us for?

    **

If you think about it that is a far more important question.

So Rat or anyone else willing to say something –

What do you want us to do?

I Personally believe the Conspiracies (Not Theories) that I read, not all of them of course, like I am not a big researcher into UFO's or the paranormal, but as far as political conspiracies go, i believe that high politicians get forknowledge of attacks and let them occur, and lie their way into war in which them and their buddies benefit from, i don't believe in coincidences like "Marvin bush, bush's cousin just HAPPENED to be running security on the WTC that day" or "Norad just HAPPENED to screw up their standard operating procedure they used for years on 9/11 because they were incompentant" or "Bush got that memo but he JUST HAPPENED to be a dumbass and not read it so he missed the warning, he was too late", i'm sorry, but even if these ARE TRUE, the way I think is that these statements make no sense, so i tend to believe the people who try and debunk them and find out what REALLY happened. As for what we should do, I just feel that having the knowledge is all you need, once you believe this stuff and actually realize it is happening, and most of high level politics and military is ALL conspiracy, you can't go on believeing what you believed before, you can' believe that the mighty DEA is going after ALL drug cartels and trying to keep our streets clean, and the CIA is helping protect us from terrorism, etc. but this knowledge is all you need, because then when you do have a choice on something you will know how to act, and see through the propaganda, you are also able to casually pass this information off to people who may wake up and see it too, and eventually more and more people wake up and see through it and this world can become a better place due to just that...

    Peace and Love,
    Dan

because if enough people can grasp [insert theory] than we can oust the rulers and live in a more free state.
and, lots of things get ignored and pushed aside, for instance you, balbus, mention the "jewish" world domination theory, and of course it sounds corny and unrealistic when you look at it like that, but if you examine the reality of high zionist government officials you will see that they do get tipped off such as the israeli fellow in london who avoided death because he told on 7/7 not to get on buses or something.
youre either a coincidence theorist, or a conspiracy theorist, and i think the truth lies somewhere inbetween. even 9/11 itself, from the prior warnings to norad stand down and all the hypocrisy of people like rumsfeld, that whole incident reeks of "conspiracy"
for most people the word conspiracy immediatly turns off their mind, either because they know it will be some stupid unbelievable story or because they know there could be truth in it that would shatter their view of the world.
as for the why, well, if you had knowledge that could benefit people, ie, free them from a lie they dont know theyre living, would you keep your mouth shut? do you really have to ask why? if you saw tony blair murder someone in an alley one night, wouldnt you tell somebody?
they push it cuz they think its true

The world is shrowded in conspiracy. To conspire simply means to plot together secretly. The problem with the word "conspiracy" is that people have been conditioned to negatively associate the term with delusion and paranoia. The definition of paranoia is extreme, irrational fear not based in reality. Information that can be supported with evidence cannot be irrational, since irrationality is a product of delusion, and evidence stands by itself.

To label a person a "conspiracy theorist" is to marginalize that person as being irrational or delusional, thus discrediting them. This is a tactic the mainstream media uses to supress those who come too close to the truth, and is also used by ordinary people on a daily basis as a defense mechanism, which offers an easy alternative to objectively looking at information and thinking critically -- something many people are virtually incapable of.

We live in a world where people would rather be lied to if it means feeling comfortable and secure. This is why we live in a world that is dominated by materialism and superficiality. This serves as the perfect antithesis to critical thinking. People would rather do and think as everyone else, rather than be their own person and use their own mind as it was intended.

The facts are the facts. And if people want to ignore the facts and disregard the facts as "conspiracy theory", that is fine with me. But I will continue to expose what I, and many others, believe to be the truth.

People like Balbus allude to a possible motive behind people who "push conspiracy theory."

I question the motive of people who are unable to think for themselves, and allow the institutions of big-money (ie: the mainstream media) to dictate their every thought. Furthermore, I question the motive of people who want to push their own rigid belief system on others, criticizing those who think differently than they do. It's what I like to call psychological fascism, and it is pefectly displayed by a handful of people who frequent this forum.

People who scoff at the idea of conspiracies are the same people who believe the world is exactly as they see it with their own two eyes. People like this frighten me. People like this frighten me because it is apparent that many of them simply don't want the truth. Truth causes people to shift their perceptions, and that's just too much effort for some people. I have often noticed that the people who most preach change are the ones most against it. It is simply a front -- a facade.

"Conspiracy theorist" is a label that has been thrust upon me -- not a label I have thrusted upon myself. I am only after the truth, and if you want to label those in serach of the truth "conspiracy theorists," so be it. I would rather be a conspiracy theorist than a mind-slave confined to the most rigid aspects of so-called "reality."

If I have any "motive," it's to get people to wake up and critically examine the events unfolding around them. I am not trying to "convert" anyone based on my worlds alone, rather get people to look into what I am talking about for themselves and form their own opinion. It would seem that people like Balbus are against this, however. People like Balbus would rather have the world believe exactly as they do, never questioning consensus reality and never thinking outside of the rigid realm molded by mainstream education and media. I really pity people like this. I pity their inability to think critically, and I pity their willingness to attack people who believe differently than they.

  5. when 3 or more men stand in a room together 2 will conspire against the other, it is the way of the creature

(joke) IF NOTHING ELSE REALITY TV HAS TAUGHT US THIS (joke done)

seriously though humans will pack together to destroy the one who is made weak by being alone, stupid, or is just small, it was like it in school, it's like that in the fucked up machination that we call the real world.....

There are too many convenient coincidences that ALWAYS surround these events. Like these London bombings. Why was there an Anti Terror Drill focused on subway bombings that was taking place in the EXACT SAME STATIONS at the EXACT SAME TIMES, much like the drills during 9/11. Again like 9/11, isn't it awfully convenient that amid all the explosions and all the fire, they found a perfectly fine passport?! Its nice of the terrorists to always be sure to leave their ID for us. Why did one of the London Bombers have extra explosives in his car if he was just gonna blow himself up on the subway? Was he going to come back from beyond the grave to get the rest of his military grade explosives and blow something else up? Why did they feel the need to Blow the terrorist's car up? Seems a lot like 9/11 where rather than saving all the steel to test it and use for forensics, they shipped it out to asia to be melted down. Why is destroying evidence always the first thing they do? Why was Nehatanyu (I think thats his name) the Israeli Finance Minister told by scotland yard, supposably before the first attack, to stay in his hotel and not use the tube, which incidentily blew up at the station under the hotel his conference was in.

I mean, you can get the idea. There's just alot of fishy shit surrounding these events all the time that makes me wonder who's really doing what. Meanwhile Blair is using the bombings to further push his 'anti-terror' bills which would allow Big Brother to listen to your cell phone calls and read your e-mail. Does anyone in their right minds still value privacy? Fuck the terrorists, I'd rather die a free man than be hearded around and watched as if I'm some kind of potential criminal by the government.

    Rat

These are the same arguments that you always present for example let us examine, you and truth.

You mention truth six times but much if not most of what is being presented by Rat and others is in fact just supposition, innuendo and opinion as I and others have shown on a number of occasions. For example in the thread –

    The Controlled Left
    http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=88026&page=1

(a very instructive thread which I will bump up)

    As I said there –

“Rat claims to know the ‘truth’ and to be presenting the ‘truth’.

To me that is not being honest because all he is really presenting is what he believes is the truth as seen from his right wing perspective. Also a lot of things Rat presents as ‘fact’ are just supposition innuendo and opinion, and again these are all coloured by his right wing views.”

    **

The thing is that ‘truth’ is often in the eye of the beholder, there are people that think it is true that the Earth is flat. Tony Blair uses it as a defense of his Iraq policy by saying that he thought the ‘evidence’ of Saddams WMD’s was the truth, others might have pointed out that it was only supposition innuendo and opinion but since that didn’t fit with the PM’s viewpoint he chose to see it as truth.

Even the way that the US and UK governments treated those that attacked the validity of the ‘evidence’ is the same as Rat’s. They claimed that people who attacked it didn’t have all the knowledge just as Rat calls those that attack his views ignorant. Both have claimed that people are motivated by an agenda and seem unwilling to discuss the matter in a frank and open manner.

    **

“If I have any "motive," it's to get people to wake up and critically examine the events unfolding around them. I am not trying to "convert" anyone based on my worlds alone, rather get people to look into what I am talking about for themselves and form their own opinion.”

The difficulty here is that you are not unbiased you are presenting supposition, innuendo and opinion and very forcefully claiming it to be the ‘truth’ and then trying to portray anyone that doesn’t just accept it as ignorant and closed minded.

    **

Ok so this leads on to the question that no one seems to be answering

    What are we to do?

I mean Rat says that any political party can be taken over by the banker/Jewish conspiracy so according to him you cannot vote in change.

So what are we to do?

He also things that any organization can be controlled by the same conspiracy so it would seem difficult to put together a revolution.

So just what are we to do?

What things can be done to counter all these powerful conspiracies?

If there had been forum boards around in the early days of Nazi Germany, I'd look there and see how many people were posting the very same thing you are, Balbus. We're just damn lucky we have Nazi Germany to compare to, or figuring out what's going on would be signifigantly more difficult, as it must have been for Germans at the time.

it is more of a "conspiracy theory" to believe int he original story of 9-11... than it is to believe that the Bush administration had something to do with it...
That our defenses just suddenly took a shit, not to mention a slew of other things.

Billions and billions of dollars being spent on "defense" and the latest radars and weaponry not to mention a defense system within the pentagon... and all for what? we cant even bring down 2 commercial airliners..
    Something is fishy here.

Hitler's Nazi ideology was also based on these 'international banker' theories.

    And that's no mere coincidence.

Like these American theorists, those Germans were attempting to absolve themselves of any responsibility for the sado-masochistic tyranny of our 'beloved' Hierarchical Civilization.

International Bankers and Elite-School Politicians become the scape-goats for all our collective psycho-sexual sado-masochistic pervertions we call Hierarchical Civilization.

That way we don't have to look at ourselves.

We don't have to expose the hidden latent homosexuality that motivates us to seek the security and authority of Hierarchical Civilization like frightened women.

Kill all the Bankers and Politicians, and by tomorrow, these contemporary theorists, along with every other Civilized 'Man', would be the first in line to take their place.

These pathetic conspiricies are but a house-of-cards when compared to the psycho-sexual death-drive structure of our subconscious motivations.

Huh, yeah, I guess you're right; we should just stop coming up with utopian ideas all together.

Your words about the psycho-sexual drives of man are also theories.

    bulbous,

what do you expect us to do? be good little obedient citizens--just like mr. bush 'n cronies want us to do?

if you don't dedicate yourself to finding the reality behind the stage curtain, you'll be living in a world of accepted lies. is that what you want? it is certainly the easy way--to not care and go about your daily business with your eyes closed. but they are slipping the cover over our eyes and we're allowing it to happen.

the truth is that the government does many things behind the public back; this has been happening for ages. furthermore, these secret things are becoming more easily hidden from public viewing. i'm referring to the hundreds of documents that the current legislation is pushing to be kept secret from U.S. citizens. what does that tell you? why doesn't the government want its people--the basic entity for this "democratic" government--knowing about the actions that the government takes? is it for our own good? hell no. it's like training a dog to sit down and we're the fucking dogs. i'm not sitting down. neither is Rat.

Rat did an excellent job ridding the term "conspiracy" from its association with paranoia and anxiety. but conspiracy wouldn't exist if it weren't real.

why do you think we really went to war with iraq? you think spreading freedom by sanctioning and through militant control is legit? you think IRAQIS blew up the twin towers--that's what our government lied to us. you already know there were no WMD in iraq, yet that was the whole reason for going there, according to our government. then why are we still there? does the government not know that it takes 20-30 years to convert a country to a fully-working democracy? of course the government knows that it takes decades of hard work to establish a democracy in a non-democratic state--how convenient, as bush won't have to deal with it down the road because he'll be retired and sitting in a pile of money soaked in oil.

the government has substantial control over the media which is where most people get their news. our government is currently run by republicans and it's not surprising that fox news is also republican--and that they own the majority of the networks. the point is, the news tells us exactly what they want us to know. we are being fed, bulbous, FED. as long as they keep our tummies swollen we'll keep our mouths shut. and this works for the majority of the population because the majority of the population is not tough enough to QUESTION THE GOVERNMENT'S ACTIONS.

I'm more worried about the Christians taking over the world. They were working at it for awhile, and they got a good % of the world taken over, but ahahahah faith is going away.

Christianity sucks (not the people, the religion itself).

Since the '60s it's my attraction to utopian ideals and utopian idealists that has led me to explore our many short-comings.

No matter how utopian my ideals, if I was born and raised in Hierarchical Civilization, then I will never escape the neurotic preoccupations of every Civilized Man.

Singling out International Bankers or Elite-School Politicians will not end or even slow the death-drive funeral-march of Civilization.

Awareness of our Biological Primate Motivations of sex and survival is the first step in slowing the death-fear driven inballance of our psycho-sexual energy.

also the reppression of anality is the precursor of a civilised age, this primitive drive suppressed and sublimated into endeavour creates the surplus of capital so necessary to civilisation. or if u don't believe that go fuck urself. literally.
