Oh Fleassy I Love it! The colors are Beautiful!!! I'm just curious, how long would you say it takes you to make tops of that style and size?? would that be considered a fairly simple top to make for a beginner? or would that be for someone more expirienced? sorry for the questions, I'm just very interested in starting to make my own clothing, and my mother and grandmother have offered to teach me soon I think I'm gonna have them help me to make a simple skirt first, I wanna start with something easy, rather then difficult, I don't wanna get discouraged! Anyway Its a Beautiful Top, You did a wonderful job!
thanks everyone INCUBUS its not amazingly hard to make, theres no appliques (which to me = hard ) you just have to be good a heming and seams. If you can guide your sewing machine over lots of layers of fabric without snapping the needle then this is fine (and i think ive finally mastered that on my LAST needle now though :S) if you want me to try and draw the shapes and measurements of the pieces i do then let me know. Perosnally for a beginner i'd do something slightly simpler on the top half , maybe rather than two sections use just one and if you dont know how to do lining you can just use a thicker fabric. I line most of my booby areas.
Hey Thanks so much Mama I really appreciate it, I think for now I will start off will something simpler like you said, but I'll keep it in mind for maybe sometime in the future once I get the hang of it. My mother was talking about going to joann fabrics to pick out some clothing patterns so I'm gonna try and find a simple easy skirt to try my hand at.
