I have been in the market for an ounce for about a week now. I've compared prices from a couple different people, but I got lucky. A friend of mine who I haven't talked to for about a year, found out that I smoked and he comes up to me and says I just found out you smoke and I deal now. So I ask how much for an ounce, and he goes $150 for an O of white widow. I was astounded like are you serious, and he begins talking to me more and apparently his uncle grows, and allowed him to grow a bit in the space as well. So I am getting basically the grower's price, which is awesome. However, I've known the kid for about 5 years, but we haven't talked in a while. How do I kindly say I want to test the shit out before I buy it. I trust him, but $150 is $150. Would it be out of the question for me to ask to see him weigh it? I've never bought more than a dub before so I'm a bit lost, but I'd assume it would be okay to see the weighing and test the product. What do you guys think?
No man it would not be out of the question to be there when he weighs it. A- its a zip of dank, B- 150 is alot of money C- Look at it to make sure its a widow strain or if its dank at all.
Okay I kind of jumped the gun and skipped waiting for your replies, but I called my friend and asked if I could sample the shit he intends to sell me. He was like of course I didn't expect you to just take my word for it, and I asked how much do you want, and he was like damn you're lucky I'm your friend otherwise I could have raked you over the coals, it's always free when you're looking to buy an ounce and usually for a 1/2 ounce as well. Needless to say I'm pretty pumped. I respect it alot when people are straight up with me, and the fact that he trusts that his shit is so good that he can afford to lose a gram is reassuring.
Could someone please post a picture of a white widow nug if they have one, I google searched it but I couldn't find any white widow nugs only pics of the entire plant. I smoked widow 1 other time so I know what I can expect to feel, but I forget what it looked like save that it had nice crystals and white hairs.
I intend to buy it if it's dank and not white widow, but this kid is fairly reliable and we used to be fairly close so I'm hoping for widow. I will definitely update when I sample the sample and when I get the ounce. The sample should be coming on Friday, because that's when I'll next see him. So late friday night or early saturday morning you'll have a bud report and hopefully a picture. Then if it's as good of shit as he claims the ounce will be coming sometime next week.
Dude that is the best deal I've heard of. Even if its not white widow and still dank you could make so much turnaround profit if you wanted to, plus I bet it tastes amazing.
My plan was to buy an O, flip half to recoup my money, and keep the other half to smoke, but idk if I want to do that. I'm on a continuance of probation right now so I'm not technically on probation, but if I get in trouble I get charged with the new charge and my old charge, and if that happens I am going to prison. Also, it comes out to about $5.40 a gram and that's an excellent price for dank so I'm saving money no matter what.
^^^ ur not gonna get caught if u try to sell it. but hey if i was on probation, id b careful too. another thing to consider is whether or not u can hold/smoke an ounce in a reasonable amount of time. i wouldnt leave sellin it out of the question cuz EVERYONE is gonna want some fuckin widow
I would sell some to my friends if they wanted some, but the thing is I wouldn't cut into the seller's business because he is doing me a favor by selling me bud this cheap. It's kind of a respect thing for me. It also has to do with wanting to receive the same deal in the future. I'm confident in my ability to conceal and use it, and like I said I would sell to friends but that's not really dealing. More like if a friend came to me and he couldn't get bud from someone else I'd sell to him, but I'm a fairly loyal person and I can't think of anything shittier than taking advantage of a friends generosity to cut his profits.
The best way to deal is to close friends. You got a better chance of not getting busted. Just make sure you can trust them.
