Just looking for some similar experiences with this, as they can be pretty scary. I recently was traumatized by being seprated from my family- kicked out by a court order from my wife, hadn't seen my daughter whos 4 in 18 days, had my life threatened by an inlaw as i was leaving, started becoming very paranoid that someone was going to kill me , began feeling as if I was being followed by a hit man on a motorcycle, began speeding , had a couple of hit and runs , finally crashing and burning- all i felt was extreme fear , that things were "unreal" and hallucinated a motorcycle was chasing me. This was confirmed as a hallucination by the police officer who was sitting at one of the red lights i ran. Needless to say, i ended up in a great deal of trouble , including overnight jail until i was bailed out , than promptly taken too a mental hospital by family , where i stayed for 8 days, was put on meds, diagnosed bipolar manic w/ psychotic episode and released. Has anyone else had hallucinations ? This is scary stuff , and is making me doubt my overall sanity. It still seems real to me now , even though through therapy i know i was hallucinating. No drugs or alcohol involved. I am straight.
anyone else have something this f-ed up happen ? I'd like to know im not the only one.

Unless you actually saw and heard the motorcylcle, thats a delusion rather than a psychosis, FYI.

But I do somewhat know the feeling. Amphetamine psychosis.
