On my last lsd trip (5 hits) I had an alien experience…it was all end of the world stuff. Anyway it also happened that a buddy of mine was coming to see me the next day. During my trip the alien told me that my buddy was bringing me news of the apocalypse and that I should believe him. Sure enough my buddy arrived the next day with a binder full of ice core sample and maps and a whole lotta stuff that went over my head—but according to him a major earth change is about to happen and he went to the Hopi Indians in Arizona (bear clan) to confirm his findings & they think its going to happen in 2012. Tonight I’m messing around on google video & I come across a link where mckenna predicts “a shift” that is ‘apocalyptic’ on Dec 21, 2012. trippy eh? Here’s the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-prt5d6m6s I also found this link… Terence McKenna - Psychedelic Society https://www.youtube.com/watch?v... its him talking about a psychedelic society that could save us from having to experience an ‘apocalypse’-if he’s right that means that we have 4 years to elevate the consciousness of humanity. My questions are: do you believe in these natural disasters that are being predicted? These apocalypse type things? Do you think a mass “turning on’ could stop it? For those of you that have watched these clips, what do you think of his theories? Could psychedelics save the species?
Personally, I don't believe in this 2012 stuff, nor do I believe in an 'apocalypse' - I think that's just something which comes from christianity and other similar belief systems with their general level of ignorance, combined with wishful thinking. No doubt though the human race will face immense problems as we move into the future. Climate change, over population, static and destructive cultures etc. I don't think that any kind of divine intervention is going to come along and change everything for us as some do, such as the photon belt people etc. We have to make an effort ourselves if we are to evolve a higher consciousness which could be the basis for a new world. The idea that an angry deity will detroy us all is equally unlikely, as anger etc are only human emotions which people have projected onto god in the past. If this current civilization destroys itself, no doubt something else will eventually emerge, perhaps something better. As for psychedelics - experience shows that of those who use them, only a small percentage experience anything spiritual or useful. For many it's just another 'drug kick'. Also I doubt that 4 years would be long enough, given that psychedelics have been known to the mass consciousness since at least the 1960's. Not that much of any real significance has changed so far as a result of their use, other than for a few individuals. The geat mass of humanity remains untouched.
No date can be predicted as the beginning or end of anything. You don't believe me? Let's take the Dark Ages. Now do tell what has changed since then, really?
:H Technology? I mean, the pedlars of doom etc. can now get their message out there on the net, TV etc etc... in the 'dark ages' they couldn't have done that.
People equate different surface texture with change. True change is something of a moral equation. People forever have done the same things. We just do them differently now but qualitatively it cannot be said that much has changed. The real way I mean this though is that the same religions are still enemies for the same superstitious reasons and at war sacrificing the small lives for the same basic self righteousness.
Well, I can't disagree with that. It is truly primitive the way things are carried on. High tech etc is only on the surface - underneath, as you say, it's the same tired old scenarios that persist. Perhaps the time is coming though when we will have to change or face extremely dire consequences. Still, individuals can do what they can despite the overall ignorance that pervades.
I have recently had dreams of two suns in the sky so i did research and found a video on you tube saying there is apprently some kind of star/planet that's called Nibiru that will cross our solar plane in 2012 along with this event is supposed to come cataclysmic events unlike we have seen in a long time ... it would appear like anything else that is the universe these events run on cycles this planet apprently takes 3000 and some odd years to make its way into our solar plane... this could also potentially explain a NEED not luxury of pyramid style buildings... That is to say though no matter what happens it's all good it will be for the benefit of the Earth and it's inhabitants... the present day living on this planet is full of shit man. Time for a clean up.
It shouldn't be thought that the world and life is gonna just END then. I think it is some kind of shift in global awareness or something along those lines. To many it will be the end of life as they know it.
Despite the world just ENDING abruptly, I am curious as to why so many psychedelic users lately are having visions like this. I too have had such visions of a catastrophic event and can only deem it as a premonition of the near future. We can only live and wait, but if anything does happen, my views on LSD will never be the same. Peace and thank you for posting
Also this may be of interest, a quote by Terence McKenna; “The apocalypse is not something which is coming. The apocalypse has arrived in major portions of the planet and it's only because we live within a bubble of incredible privilege and social insulation that we still have the luxury of anticipating the apocalypse. If you go to Bosnia or Somalia or Peru or much of the third-world then it appears that the apocalypse has already arrived.”
The date you mentioned is when the Mayan calendar ends, 11:18am. They had more accurate calendars than we have right now and the only theory that seems realistic when it comes to a dooms day scenario is the one about Earth's magnetic poles reversing. Their calendar is only seconds off not just a few seconds but less than a minute and that boggles the mind.
Acid certainly can supply us with all the imagery required. It only takes one idea to start the train off in whichever direction and generally it is the most paranoid that does the defining. This is not to say that we should ignore the writing on the wall, no, better to use our conscience and live accordingly.
I don't know if I believe that the world will end in 2012, but my friend's dad, back in the 70's, before he heard anything about the Mayan calendar ending then, took probably close to an ounce of shrooms and saw the world end in December 21, 2012. A logical reason to why he could have saw it happen in 2012 was that he heard about the end of the world then and just didn't give it any importance at the time and stored it away subconsciously, and the shrooms brought it out again. Then again he could have been clairvoyant and saw the future... One thing is true is that he was out of it. He even tasted the color purple.
The worlds prolly not gonna end..I'm guessing aliens are going to make their presence much more open and hopefully just blow our minds. Whatever ill be stuck in fuckin college but ill hopefully be doing dmt and acid on that day.
I think something like that, if ever, would be best experienced in a sober mind state. You dont need no DMT or acid :hat:
