Wake up people! ABORTION IS COMING TO AN END!!!

And thank God, too! ABORTION IS BARBARISM!!!! Anyone who supports abortion IS DELUDED, and I believe that with ALL my heart.

Abortion IS THE SAME as SLAVERY was! It is the SAME as HITLER's FINAL SOLUTION!!!!! WHY cant people see that?????

It never ceases to amaze me that the same people who denounce the war in Iraq as killing in the name of 'oil' or 'imperialism' will turn around and JUSTIFY MURDER in the name of 'womens rights'!!!!!!!

Womens rights. What about friggin HUMAN RIGHTS???? Tell me?

Thank God this nation will soon be free of abortion. South Dakota is JUST THE BEGINNING! Thank God innocent children will soon have their LIVES back!!!!

And I agree victims of rape and incest should be an exception, so dont jump on my back, ok?

But as for all the other SELFISH and IRRESPONSIBLE 'women' who MURDER their own children, NOT MUCH LONGER!!!!!!!! THANK GOD!!!!!

Pro-choicers have SKREWED this world over long enough. Just think of all the great minds that have been LOST FOREVER to 'womens rights'? Perhapes we could have been cured of CANCER or AIDS. But NO, a woman thirty years ago thought a child would be 'inconvenient'.

i agree as far as abortion not being birth control,i dont agree with the killing off inocent unborn fetuses..with saying that i do however feel that women that whom get
inpregnated by someone in there, family or are raped by a stranger should have the option of abortion...once again i challenge any one of you to walk in a womens shoes who has been raped and finds out she in now pregnant by her rapist.step outside of the bow this isnt nee. about womens rights actually its about human rights!!!!!

A few comments: they made the bill so controversial because they want it to go all the way to the Supreme Court.

Facts: 80% of all abortions are first trimester. The majority of people who have abortions are low income and minorities. 65% of American support RvW with additional restrictions. The general trend has been less abortions since 1990. 23% of all pregnancies end in abortion. (source= PEW center, I think. I took notes on an NPR bit that aired early this year, so the source may actually be different because I didn't really denote which facts came from where).

My opinion: Abortions are necessary. Let's say they outlaw abortion. People will still find ways to have them done, some rather dangerous. Coathangers, anyone? Birth control and condoms don't work all the time, and people find themselves pregnant. I don't think you can expect anyone to have an unplanned child just because they're pregnant. Women need the option.

In terms of morals, I don't think killing off a fetus in the first semester is a crime. At all. Later on, things are perhaps different, but I would never judge someone who made that choice for herself.

Abortion should be a last resort. Behind condoms and the pill if you choose to have sex. (Brings up a whole other issue about teaching contraception in schools, eh?)

Another point: there is so much fuss made over unborn babies, but what about the ones who have been born already? Read the articles on the children who come into foster care, read the horror about the children already living in the world, and then consider again why so many people spend so much time, effort, and money campaigning on this one incredibley divisive issue. There are many unwanted and unloved children in this world already, and sometimes it seems that they get pushed to the wayside.

Fabioula doesn't even sound like she comes from this country let alone have stayed here for lesser then a week. Things such as "i cry as I write this....i cry for those women ...........women we must take a stand!" or "i cry out to you tonight i beg of you fight!!!!" What woman do you know of from Tennessee speaks that way?

Anyway, so because a woman got raped or incestually pregnant it should be aborted? That's like saying if a child was born with down syndrome it should be exterminated.

States should be able to regulate abortion. Roe v Wade should be overturned, not because I am pro-life, but because abortion should be regulated by the states as the constitution actually says. I fail to understand how the Supreme Court can hold up federally regulated abortion through what the 14th Amendment "implies" while completely ignoring what the 10th Amendment actually says.

For the record I a pro-choice. I just believe that it is a state issue, not a federal one.

I think that there are way too many unwanted children already out of the womb all over the world, and way too many problems with current foster systems to make this abortion thing even an issue right now.

So many already alive children are suffering daily. Kids sorely neglected by their parents, foster parents, adoptive parents. Kids waiting to find parents to care for them, kids waiting for food to eat before they starve. All the time, effort, ligislation, money, ect, needs to focus on the absolutely immeadeate - the already born, living, breathing, children that are suffering and dying because they were unwanted, or unable to be cared for.

How can we make such an effort to force more children into that world when we can't make that same effort to completely support them when they are here??

i think that incest has been around forever and abortion to the victems there of is a blessing and how can you possibly love a child wrought forth under such conditions??
there is so much more to be said on this

why do people always say that 'abortions will happen, but htey'll be unsafe...so we need to keep abortions legal."

uh...all crimes still happen even though they are illegal and they put the doer in risk because they are illegal.

That is not a valid argument.

Ultimately, i think states should be able to decide(for or against). However, we really, really dont need this issue right now. There are more important things.
