Let me paint u a mind pic. 1,000,000 people organize outside of (Insert Area most beneficiary) And protest for they're reasons of choice. Say people protest outside of the whitehouse or somewhere in DC for for the legalization of marijuana. We (the protesters) have choosen one person who hass REALLYYY done there homework to go 1v1 with President on legalizing mj. The choosen rep. of the protesters wins the "arguement" on why and how to legalize mj. The pres. then must....legalize it? just an ex. do you think something of this nature would work? discuss..
That idea was almost as bad as Fedupamericans idea of having doctors stop working. So no, it isn't a good idea.
Yes, protests work. Look at the recent success of the job-protection protesters in France. The French government decided to reforn the nation's labor laws by passing legislation that would allow employers to arbitrarily fire any employee under the age of 26, virtually eliminating job protection for the youth while preserving it for older workers. The French youth took to the streets and after several weeks of protest, managed to get the government to overturn the unfair labor law. The point of all this is that good things happen when the people stand up for themselves. Not only did it work in France, it will also work in any other nation for virtually any problem. When the people stand up and speak, the governments are forced to listen.
