Problems in the Ghetto!!!

So I live in a rough part of town, not super ghetto, but ghetto enough to see crack deals go down daily. Last week my car was keyed up for the second time really bad. It's so bad that it can't be buffed out it needs to be repainted. I woke up this morning to two flat tired on the passenger side...not a coincidence at all. The first time my car was keyed I called the cops and they said they couldn't do anything because I didn't see the person do it. I'm sooo pissed off, I have no money to get 2 new tires and I have to work. Is there anything legally I can do about this situation? I'm really pissed off and it's just going to continue to happen. I feel like I'm being targeted or something and I haven't done shit to anyone, I mind my own fucking business.

Yeah you really can't do anything unless you have the feature on your insurance for vandalism. I got it on mine just because I've had phrases keyed into my cars and my tires slashed a few times.

Well most people just go to someone's house or somewhere more appropriate and a little less inconspicuous if they're after stuff.

Not sure about florida, but I would imagine places all over that would sell used tires.

Do you have a good friend who is a mechanic? Or know someone who works in the car/truck business, small or big.

 

you're in miami? is there an affordable, yet safer place in town you could move?

If you can't do anything legally about your car, moving appears to be your only option

 

I would move if I could, but I'm currently in the process of working on that. Ughhhh!!!! I'm so pissed!!! The old me would get revenge on the person who I think did it, but the new me knows that karma is a bitch so I just have to fucking deal with it!

 

you need to just buy a piece of shit car so it wont matter if anyone scratches it..buy used tires too...until youre in a better neighborhood

as for catching them you'll have to do a stakeout

dont bother fixing it..theyll just do it again (except for the tires because you have no choice )

 

Sorry to hear about the car damage..that sucks. I live in a ghetto neghborhood....cars broken into/stolen..shots fired/shootings...etc....but usually if someone vadalizes..they have beef with that person. For your sake..i do hope it's random. I would rather someone just kick my ass instead of fucking up my shit...lol Anyways...i would talk to a friend that knows about electrical work...get a cheap webcam....monitor...and you got a cheap security system. Lots of parties in the ghetto...but just like anywhere else...some folks don't know how to have a good time...ruin it for everyone else.

Someone flattens your tires or keys it...usually it's personal..perhaps bored teens...but...hoodrats just steal everything out of your car...and/or the car itself. I work hard for my things...and i don't have much...would really wanna kick someone's ass if they fucked up my car...even if it is a hoopty. lol Karma is a bitch...i hope.
