Prayer for Fedup and others on this forum

this is not a mean undercutting thread that i made but an open thread for the christians on here to offer up prayer for this guy and the other non-christians on this forum. I think it would be a nice chance for us christians to collect together and offer up our prayers for this forum, not just the christianity forum, but the whole of the hipforums. If any others come on this thread with rude comments we should not argue with them or insult them in any way even if they annoy us and offend....

i thought it would be a nice idea for us christians to see who of our brothers and sisters in Christ are on here...

Fedup's actually a stealth Christian, otherwise would he have just said fuck you. Anyone who appreciates prayer is a believer, in one way or another.

God, help! Father you know all these dudes and dudettes on these forums, it's kinda scary, but you do anyway I'm sorry for my screw ups today, please forgive me for my gluttonising attitude, i'm sorry for talking behind a persons back today, it wasn't intended but it happened anyway. Give me strength to deal with gossip and not to go into it myself.
Lord the main reason i'm coming to you with this prayer is on behalf of these hippies. You've brought me to them totally on purpose in Your wonderful interweaving ways. I'd just like to ask and pray a blessing over them and that in their debates their minds and hearts would be open and fair, and that they would be as inoffensive as possible That they would give the experience of You a chance Lord. You're not just some 'experience'-it pains me to even use the word like that, like it's some random drug to get high on and go all crazy. But Lord Father Jesus, Dude You're so amazing and You are the ultimate high! Knowing and loving You are wonderful things to have, and You bring peace and love and joy and stability to those that know You. Not to say that christians don't have anything bad happen to them of course, but You know what i mean. That great reliance on You Lord God. Oh Lord God i'm derivating at the moment, but please please please touch these hippies tonight Lord. Daddy please show them Your face, show them the Holy Spirit and give them opportunity to know You-not in theoligical terms, but in social/relational ways. Father thankyou for being so awesome and incredible. Thankyou that You show Yourselves to those that really want to know You, thankyou that You sent Your son to die and take on every single bad thing anyone has ever done or said or thought. It's so immense Lord!! Thankyou for being both fair and mighty and huge and above our understanding and yet You long for a relationship with us. Thankyou for all the miracles You've ever done. *waves to jesus* can't wait for when You come back. I don't want heaven getting all cluttered up with God hating infidels, what kind of masochistic freak do you take me for? Having to deal with these unrepentant heathens is bad enough in this life, I sure don't want to have to deal with them for all eternity. Heaven should be reserved for righetous believers like me. I actually like the idea though I don't generally pray for people. This is one of the few situations in which I will pray for people. Reason being that I used to be an atheist and a satanist and people prayed for me in the same manner (though not on the internet) and it worked wonders for me, miracles even. So yes I like it 100% horray for Lozi.

Your idea of what it means to be a Christian seems to be a very narrow one.

NOWHERE have I said that I think that I know everything. Here is something people should ponder on though.

I believe that the REAL teaching of Jesus can be summed up in the Golden Rule. A very simple rule. There is a lot about the life of Jesus between childhood and adulthood which the Bible leaves out. Some believe that Jesus studied the religions of Asia before returning to his homeland. Complicated religious dogmas might have seemed like good ideas to self serving elitist leaderes of the past. Today however, one of those dogmas in the form of RADICAL Islam is endangering all of Humanity, in the form of RADICAL Islam(Notice that I did not just say 'Islam', the Koran has lots of wise sayings. Every religion has at least a few good features about it. Those who are not Muslim are most certainly not automatically infidels!) Radical Islamic terrorists have been lead to believe that they will be rewarded in heaven for committing mass murder. Where does this kind of thinking end? I hope and pray that it does not end with nuclear weapon exchanges!

This first part isn't prayer, it is confession. Why? God (assuming for sake of argument he exists) already knows you screwed up. Why confess? It's rather redundant if you ask me, and if you didn't ask me, it still doesn't change the fact that its redundant. God is omniscient, he knows all.... kinda like Santa.

Spirits do not exist, you have never seen one and if you have, there are drugs for this... you can't have relationships with invisable friends, there are drugs to help with this psychological abnormalty as well. Not to mention that so far this is the only "praying" you have done so far. And guess what? If god exists, he already knows we do not believe in his existence and if it was part of his plan, he'd do something about it. You praying is presumtious on your part to assume he will change his plan just because you asked.

The whole point to me replying to this thread was to show that prayer is redundant, useless and pretencious at best.

Assuming the Tri-omni god exists, he already knows what is going on, has all the power needed to change things he doesn't like and yet, I'm still not even remotely convinced of his existence. If your god existed, he has the power to reveal himself to me just as he did to Moses and all the other prophets and I would still have the free will to accept/reject him. Seriously, Satan knew of him directly and chose to reject him, so it shouldn't be any different for me.

Who are you (christians) to think that by begging god for things, that he would change his plan that was already set in motion. What makes you think he doesn't know about me not believing in his existence that it requires you to ask in the first place? Do you have influence over the all mighty's will and plan? How arrogant is that? When you pray and you get what you asked for, this is coincidence, when you pray and you don't get what you ask for, you claim its gods will or his answer was no.... Well Duh! He already has a plan, stop wasting his time. If you REALLY thought you had influence, then why haven't you all asked for world hunger to end, why haven't you asked for tsunamis and earthquakes and all the other terrible things god could prevent to end? Oh thats right, its gods will that all these things need to happen... What a nice guy.


In conclusion, prayer is pointless, unless your goal is to show how "christian" you are.

Yes I've tried prayer, sometimes it "appears" to work, other times not. I have also prayed to the Sun, it has the same success rate.... try it sometime.

Not sure what you mean by "pulling toungues", but if you meant tongues, then I still don't know what you mean. You haven't refuted one thing I've said... come back when you can.

 

Thats the best you can do? I'm not a troll. I'll be here to debate any time. Trolls typically come to spam a board, then leave.
