is it possible to make pot brownies without making the butter or oil or whatever, like just making brownies normally and throwing a bunch of pot in the batter? and then just baking it like normal?

THC is fat and alcohol soluble, it has to come in contact with some sort of fat (such as butter) in order to be extracted.

the heat that you smoke it at is ALOT higher than the heat that it bakes in an oven...

it works. you need neither heat nor extraction for the desired substances contained within to be psychoactive when consumed. i've even eaten raw middies on more than one occasion with tremendous results.

You can put the weed right into the mix and just bake it off and yes you will get messed up. However all of that plant material tends to change the flavor of the brownies. And they look almost greenish brown. I have seen this done with a pound cake recipie. It does work.

indeed. pot has a distinctive flavor, but it will depend on how much you put in it.

it tents to taste like green vegetables, reminiscent of broccoli. but it doesnt taste bad, and if you don't make the dose super concentrated it won't ruin the taste of the brownie

You must have had to eat a ton of herb though. It's still not as potent as if you were actually to just do an extraction with your herb. Why waste THC when you don't have to?

no, the dose stays the same. about a gram, gram and a half depending on quality. just grind it really fine and eat it on an empty stomach, no problem.

i have used it raw, unrefined, and extracted in making various foods and drinks, and have never found any form of extraction to be more efficient than just grinding it to a powder and consuming it as is.

if you're going to be using a pan for the brownies why not just get another pot dirty since it seems like you're going to be cleaning anyways. it's not hard to make cannabutter, you basically just heat it for like half and hour

I'm intrigued now. I always kind of thought it didn't work as efficiently since thc needs to by activated by means of heat, or extracted in something that thc binds binds to. I remember eating some schwag or mids a while back and not getting anything out of it. Maybe I need to revisit the idea next time I get a mid hookup (or stumble onto massive amounts of dank).

well it seems a lot easier to just throw some pot into the brownie mix... if i wanted to make a full batch how much pot should i use? like just a normal box of cake mix?

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'll bet its a little easier to destroy THC by means of overcooking if you just mix the weed in with the batter rather then use an extraction. I'd say if you're planning on using this method, just be real careful about not overcooking your brownies.

Use a normal brownie mix from a box and anywhere from an eighth to a quarter bag of ground up weed. You might want to add a little more butter and maybe some chocolate sauce depending on how much weed you are putting in the mix. Keeping in mind that you are adding to the recipie by putting in the pot so you need to compensate with some additional liquid. I think depending another half oz of butter and about a tablespoon of chocolate sauce should make up the difference.

    Enjoy.

sorry to bump this, but i had another question, if i do end up making a batch... if i used a quarter of weed to make a box of brownies, so like, 16 brownies i guess (assuming i use one box of mix) if i wanted to sell the brownies how much could i charge for each one? like what would be a fair price?
