I didn't know if there was already a designated area for people to post their pics and progress, so I figured I'd make one. I've been working on them (more like rupping them apart and such) for about 2 months or a little more. Here are some pics.

so these were mine... but I chopped them last august. starting dreads again as soon as my hairs are long enough.

this was around sixish months. i am maybe inebriated here.

 

tree hugger, yours are beautiful. So are yours oily.

And slash, yours look good for two weeks as well, i can tell those are going to form great. Is that from two weeks of no wash? or two weeks after back comb?

 

i totally had that issue too... i had like 80 itsy bitsy dreads that weren't that itsy bitsy when i backcombed, but after they started locking i realized how small they were. i just combined a bunch of them by kind of threading them in and out of each other. at your stage, you could EASILY do that to make them a little fatter. pm me if you have questions. looking good though!

 

i haven't washed them yet, it's been two weeks today, and they were backcombed. i've had a couple sets, but i decided these ones arent going anywhere. i love them.

Here are mine after just over 2 months kinda hard to see as my hair is dyed black (and half of it is kinda bleached). I'll get some more in daylight sometime.

...Should probably get a shave too.
