Post pics of YOUR dreads!

I'm interested in seeing some of the wonderful dreads on the heads of people on this fantastic forum! If there's another thread like this, someone tell me and I'll erase this one. But go ahead! post those pictures!

nympfsue, you're dreads look great. You're so pretty too! It looks like we have the same hair type. How long did it take yours to start to lock up? and soaringeagle, of course yours are absolutely unbelievable. love it!

 

at 1 and a half months they were locked up enough to not fall out when i scrubbed them in the shower, then at maybe 3 months the mass majority began to look and feel like dreads....far from completely matured, but you could see that they were dreading. i'm at 5 months now and still have some loops/bumps and lots of loose hairs, but small portions of a few dreads look like matured dreads. i hope that makes sense it's hard to explain

 

hehe it does. I just washed my dreads for the first time and they are kind of falling out and its very frustrating. im not too sure what to do! gaaaahhh patience.... must have patience.

 

yep patience! the first few months are hard! in the beginning i washed very delicately and would go as many days as possible without washing

 

mine are 3 months and like 2 weeks.
