Lot of confusion lately on what "Popcorn" is. Here in Texas, its reffered to as some good mids. Cost about $60. to $80. an ounce or $800. a pound.
definitely NOT what anyone around here would call "popcorn" around here, "popcorn buds" are small, round, dense nugs that resemble homemade popcorn in shape and size. people around here seem to generally favor larger buds, and while nobody claims there is anything at all wrong with "popcorn buds" there is a general preference for other stuff, as long as the quality is still there. while your pot does not look unsmokable by any means and while i would like to get that if i could buy it for 60 an ounce....it definitely looks like ok mids, but if you referred to it as "popcorn" around here my guess is people would look at you real funny. which isn't to say i doubt people call it that where you live. but from what i gather, the type of pot i'm describing more generally fits most people's idea of "popcorn." (around here it has to do with the appearance of the buds and nothing else, though it's essentially only used for nicer pot that fits this description)
i've never heard the term popcorn by itself in reference to weed though. just "popcorn buds." always specifically referring to the buds themselves, not what type or strain it is
Your talking about something completley different. Popcorn buds are small buds just like you mentioned, usually found from more of the bottom of the plant. Here in Texas we have "Popcorn" or what they call "Pop" which I've seen a few people from texas talking about on the forums. Let someone from the Dallas area chime in. =]
