I think about this question sometimes when i am under the influence..out of all of the people that you encountered the last time you were tripping or any time you were tripping for that matter, how many of them do you think could tell you were tripping on something? Sometimes i wonder if the guy behind the counter at the convenience store realizes whats going down when i stare at the shit i just bought for way too long before i take the bag and leave.
I think the guy next to me at the Allman Brothers show 4 days ago knew I was tripping for sure. I think the concession stand folks just thought I was drunk.
Merriweather concessions were so ridiculous..moreso than most other venues. I mean im used to $6 nachos at camden, so $7 nachos is just insanity! The ABB set was just insanity, total brainfuck. Derek's solo after the 'crazy chester' verse in the weight was just uncalled for. he creates sounds with a slide that just don't exist outside of his domain.
