    First of all, it's Aaliyah, not Aaliagh or something ;)
    I really liked Aaliyah, and I still like her music. My favorite songs are:
    * More than a woman
    * Try again
    * Rock the boat
    And of course I love the touching Miss You, in remembrance of Aaliyah. The best cd to listen, if you like her music is the cd who came out after she died, a greatest hits or something.

    I think to like her music, you would have to be pretty uneducated on what good music is, or just have no idea what music is. She was pretty cool in Queen of the Damned tho.

    I can't say I was a huge Aaliyah fan, but I do love "Rock the Boat."

    A talented R&B singer and actress, Aaliyah (pronounced ah-lee-yah) may wind up being best remembered as rising talent whose life ended before she hit her artistic peak. Aaliyah Dana Haughton was born in New York on Jan. 16, 1979, and died in a plane crash on Aug. 25, 2001, after taping the video for her song "Rock The Boat" in the Bahamas.

    O yes, and if you are interested, check http://www.aaliyah.com/

    After this, you'll know who she was. :)
