I don't know if anyone here really wants to read my poems... but if so, just post here and I'll start sharing.
just gonna go in order of how they are on my comp... Conformity and the Robotic People Amanda Lentini Dark and damp is the tunnel life rides Death eats at the joy of humans Eyes of fear reflect each other Tears held back behind closed eyes. Sorrow filled robots walk the streets A chill covers the ground. Death and Hate; Pain and Destruction Soulless people taint the world. Where hope once rested now walks pain Chaos is the only order Nothing matters to the masses All we want is escape. Losing love, we’re lost in sex Losing joy, we drug up. All I want is life to win. If love prevails will darkness lift? The dark of death, of hate, of pain The shouts of the dead lost souls All that falls from people now Are the tears they never show. People have lost feeling now. I hear the shouts rise. My heart and spirit break Elders say that love will save, But if never given it can never thrive. Survival in this day’s masses? Anarchy might save them all. I will libel in my life. For without love, it’s all I have.
Blood and Tears Amanda Lentini The world is here and I’m a curse Flash of red and the ground is stained From my face stream tears of life. There’s nothing here and never was So now it’s time to stain the ground The blood of passion, of hopes and dreams Exits the body in a dark red stain Water running down my face. Take me, lead me from this place. I’ll stand here in your eyes Make you think that I belong To the outside I look whole But inside I’m dying slowly. I stain the world- stain it with my blood and tears Call to me and bring me back Save me from the failure that is fact See the pain and hear my cry There’s no salvation with no acknowledgement Feel yourself stain the ground Lose your blood and tears to stimulate the earth. I have no being staying here Take me to my rest. I’ll stand here in your eyes Make you think that I belong To the outside I look whole But inside I’m dying slowly. I stain the world- stain it with my blood and tears My blood and tears I’ll stain The ground, the world is stained I am the cause of all these stains I stain the world with blood and tears. A tad darker... but I like it. Need to still put music to it cause I always intended it to be lyrics.
