PLEASE!! I really need to know what this is????

so I was wondering if anyone knows what a "my received files" folder is?? it is under my documents..and I was wondering what type of files would be saved to there? and I read on the internet it has to do with msn live messenger files that are transfered during a convo? but I wasn't sure if that was the only files that would go in there?

HELP!!!!

 

come on....any little thing at all will help! anything you know about "my received files"

 

I'm pretty sure it's the folder that contains anything you download from Windows Messenger.

My recieved folder, is the folder of which the documents/photos/ect being sent to you from msn messenger is actually sent to. This is where everything goes. :-D So yes nothing else goes in there lol.

 

the name of the folder tells you all you need to know


my received files is where files you receive go...

 

I have to say that you deduced the function of this subdirectory quite correctly on your own with your search engine adeptness. You will find only MSN messenger or other Microsoft internet based applications placing data in this location. Keep in mind that this data will stay in place until you run the ms system cleanup function or delete them manually with windows explorer.
