Holy crap man, very awseome, your stuff is that exact stuff i'm into now. I'll deffinatly tell my friends about your stuff, alot of people will like it from up around here. Let me know if you have a cd or anything man. My band is recording some stuff soon, and you would pry like it, we play accoustic stuff mainly, ill have a link to my site here soon. Keep up the good work man.
i think your stuff sounds great. is that all you? are you doing it all live with looping? if your looking for criticisim the melodic vocal lines in all of the three songs i listened to are very similar. your sticking closely to fundamentals of old folk ballads this is becoming more and more rare. keep going with it. check out some of my stuff give me some singing tips, bevai
Hey Guys, I am in a band called the Fly Drive Package. We love the grateful dead, phish, sci, etc. Please check out our Allman Brothers Cover "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed Jam" myspace.com/theflydrivepackage thanks so much
Cool stuff guys,... I play in a band called "Lesser Angels of Our Nature" We are a combination of Crosby Stills Nash & Young "The Band" Jefferson Airplane and a little Allman Brothers thrown in for Duane. My web page is http://www.tagworld.com/Digger69 There you can see some pictures of me and Bob (Bob playing a pretty damn good Duane Allman.) and I have a mini Blog. I would love to send you some samples of our efforts we have written over 150 original songs and have 50 covers down. please e-mail me at skylab68@cox.net I know you will like what we're doing digger
i hate to be mean. but that sucked. who was lead? where was the rhythm? what did you record it on?? you both need guitar lessons and some soul.....its too stale.
i'll be totally honest...it needs some work...alot of what's bad is the recording quality...on elizabeth reed jam, the rythym is a good bit louder than the lead then the sound just kind of suddenly dampens around 1:00...the lead on both tracks is pretty choppy too...back door funk isn't such a bad song if it was played and recorded better. also, try to get into a cheap studio or maybe download this software called audacity...search audacity on google and you'll get a link...it's free and sounds way better than what you have now. also, try and get a drummer and bass player recording with you.
I'm working on that. If you can e-mail at skylab68@cox.net I can send you a tune or two from my windows media library. I'd love too,... I work nights, so i haven't had a lot of time. Digger
