Plane high?

You obviously couldn't smoke on a plane, but what about if you made cookies?
If you just had a few cookies in your carry on with a few other snacks, would the dogs be able to smell it?

 

I wonder the same thing about brownies, I had 2 in my bag when I went threw security one time, as soon as I got to my gate I ate them and passed out, lol

 

Yeah, even if the dogs could smell it, you could just put some beef jerky in there, and say that's what they were smelling

 

I have never seen a dog in the airport and I have been through some of the busiest ones in the US, however, if you just have a couple cookies I wouldn't be worried at all. They aren't about to dissect your lunch in a science lab and that's the only way they could guarantee those cookies have weed in them.

 

Are you flying internationally?

Only time I've ever had dogs near me is when I'm coming back into Canada. Going through customs you'll occasionally get sniffed.

Oh, and then once the Swedish customs had a dog sniffing everyone getting of the plane from Amsterdam.

But if it's just domestically, I would not worry about it.

 

Just eat em an hour of so before you get on the plane in the bathroom at the airport... they take a while to kick in anyway

I'd freak the fuck out if I got stoned before getting on a plane. I'm terrified of flying as it is!

 

I had to sleep in Schipol airport in Amsterdam last year with about 4 grams on me, was sleeping on the bench in the main area because my flight wasnt till morning, woke up at 3am to a sniffer dog nearly chowing down on my crotch and a fat dutch police woman standing over me

I had to show her my flight documents to prove I wasnt just homeless and she told me to go and smoke outside if I didnt want to have it confiscated boarding the flight, so I lay down under a big tree in my sleeping bag and caned the shit out of th 4 grams and passed out

You will be grand with a few edibles, I walked straight past sniffer dogs coming off the plane with a blim in my pocket by accident and they didnt even notice

 

dogs dont walk up to you and sniff you.. thats a potential liability for them if the dog smells something and scratches/bites somebody..

so its not like theres drug k-9s running all over the airport sniffing everybody down..

just dont put it in your checked baggage and you'll be fine. there is a decent chance they will have a dog sniff over the checked bags. dogs dont sniff carry on bags anyways, the only screening measure for carry-ons is they will be x-ray scanned when you walk through security.

so you will be fine with edibles in your carry on. even if you want to bring buds, just keep the bag in your pocket, and dont set off the metal detector... people tend to think its ridiculously hard to get drugs through an airport, in fact its just the opposite. i have brought weed with me just about every single place i have ever flown to... i just keep it in my pocket. its way too easy

 

if you do plan on taking pot back with you, make your you do eveything by the book, have your shoes and coat off and laptop sitting out and all your liquids in a bag, you want to have no reason to get pulled aside for anything, and no metal is the main thing, play by the rules have your id and ticket out and ready to go, That's what I have done

They are not going to come after you for a couple of brownies, at the most they might throw them away but they would need to find them first. People bring food on the plane all the time. Especially now that domestic flights only offer peanuts.

However, all it's going to take is some home made explosive put into a pie to change that.

obviously leaving amsterdam there is gonna be extra security.. its common sense that people are going to be bringing weed back with them when they leave amsterdam which is like the pothead capitol of the world

Even with security I brought weed onto the plane and that was an accident! I didnt even realise until I was on the plane

 

How would they even know their was thc in them? they got bigger fish to frie, I guess I could have a bag of chips with them, I did bring 2 brownies back with me onetime before, I will have to see, what my sister and matt think, I am still not sure if I will make any

if you know the drill, and act like just another casual traveler you will be totally fine.

the biggest thing is not setting off the metal detector, because if you do then there is a very good chance they will pull you aside into a screening room and pat you down and such...

the TSA in general is pretty incompetent.. remember this is a bunch of people that do nothing all day except get passengers through the security checkpoint.. they just want to get it done as quickly and efficiently as possible, because that makes their job that much easier.. its not like these people have some kind of agenda and are determined to find out which passengers might have a bag of grass in their pocket..

I am flying to grand rapids that is the airport I will be flying out of on the way back, I have never seen any dogs at the airport
