its alot better than talking about todays crap music... i cant stand people who say "wow chemical romance is one of the best bands ever" or "green day is the greatest punk band".... god.... todays music is full of shit... you really gotta dig through some huge shit piles these days to find good music..... i could go on and on about other crappy bands... but i dont wanna rant too long

 

Yes they are just a band. What is your point exactly? Are you saying they suck?

 

They are definately more than just a band to me. I grew up listening to them. I knew the songs from Dark Side of the Moon before I knew the ABC's!!

Then when I was about 15, I listened to them again. I really listened. And it did blow my mind. It always does. It bring tears and shudders and smiles when I listen to thier music. It's amazing.

Some people aren't that into it. That's cool with me! Why isn't it cool with you that a lot of stoners can share and enjoy a particular type of music? Not only that, but you have to have this superior snotty attutude on top of it. I'd be glad to hear what you like to listen to and if I dont agree, I'm not going to say, what's the deal? ect.

Anyway, it's like going to Jamaica and saying, "what do you people like about Bob Marley?"

 

If you can't appreciate the music of Pink Floyd then you can't appreciate music at all.
