Kewl, this was supposed to be about how great my hair is but peeps are diggin my eyes and snout I am a sucker for a compliment. Must be the pregnancy hormones.

And yes I was very glad to get the wax out. It took a lot of work and I had to start my dreads over but look at them now!

 

You have the same eyes as your daughter, the younger one I think who looks like a little pixie. It's really nice to see progress every time you post.

Aww, thanks I think they are just dolls. People always tell me they look like Kewpie dolls when they are little. I've also heard they look elvish and like faeries. Here are some recents of them.

I am shocked at over 2 inches of shrinkage in the past month alone! Crazy! I like it though. I've been really wanting a solid dread with no wispy tips. I have a couple that are almost there but they are still swirly whirly and not cylindrical. I want a clean cylindrical look about them (as much as I can without much maintenance - I don't mess with my hair). I basically separate them after I wash them 2x a weekish and that's it.

 

your daughters are groegeous! ... hmm maybe one day down the road they'll take part in dreading the way you have =)

 

I never thought I would love my hair. I am 26 and for the first time actually love my hair. It's such a nice change. I feel so freed from vanity as well. It's been so much more than letting my hair knot.
