Hi there Hip-Forum members! I'm glad to see a prospering active psychadelic community I can hopefully fit into! I tripped on 2C-I last weekend after doing very little research, being the first psychadelic I've taken, I've had the time of my life. I am curious though however, in regards to the physical dangers and health risks involved with phen's and 2C-I, 2C-B, and 2C-E in particular. Thanks!
there's not very much they really know about this substance in particular. hence the term research chems. whatever you do be careful
No kidding eh? Emphasize 'not much they really know.' Anything in particular I should be cautious about?
just do not do them a lot. space out your dosing. thats all anyone can really say to be safe if you are going to do it. otherwise, just do not do it to avoid all problems and stick to more researched psychedelics.
Well since those are psychedelic stimulants just avoid mixing them with other stimulants (although I must admit some 2c-x + mdma makes for a wonderful experience) and if you have high blood pressure, or serious problems with your heart or liver you should probably avoid them.
check wikipedia for direct information its easier to find the main points of the dangers / doses. 98% of information matches erowid.
You can do all the research that you can, but they are called research chemicals for a reason. When a chemical is known as researched it means that it has been tested for years under a variety of very professionally controlled scientific conditions by legitimate researchers. Pillars of the scientific community so to speak. Even MDMA, one of the most widely researched chemical really doesn't have a REALLY big body of data. Long term effects are still unknown. How do you expect to find out much more than myth and rumor until you try it yourself on something like 2c- or 2c-e, for example.
Basically I agree with what everyone has said. They are research chemicals, for all we know we will all have huge tumors in 20 years from using them, I don't know, and neither does anyone else. Yes that's highly unlikely, but it's still possible. You need to weigh out your risks, and the problem with most people is they do things for the now, and don't think about the consequences in the future, but in this case, with research chemicals, it's kind of hard to since little is known about them other than dosages and short term effects. -DP
We have heard a report (only one though) dealing with an individual who had extreme circulation problems after dosing with a mere 12mg of 2C-I. His hands and feet apparently turned purple and he had some slight pains in his chest. He survived and has not taken it since, but take warning, everyone has different body chemistry and even if his case reflects only .01% of the population we would never know due to lack of research on these chemicals. For all we know 1/100 users could experience severe constriction of blood vessels, just that the trip reports out there come from the 99 others.
SWIM told me he knows someone that tried it recently - extreme chills, shivering, high as a kite, barfing, speedy, open eye visuals, connection to God, closed eye visuals, could not sleep for 28 hours. If it lasted 2 hours it would be great, but it was an incapacitating high, the person said. As strong as acid, but more side effects.
