phish question

i was recently listening to live phish 13, the halloween show during which phish covered the beatles white album. during "glass onion" in the 2nd set, trey adds a line about "guyute". guyute was a song on "story of the ghost" which was released in '98. live phish 13 is the halloween of '95 and the earliest guyute i have is 07/15/98. does anyone know the story behind this? if guyute was written by trey early on or if the song was based off that extra line of glass onion?

 

actually that Halloween show is from 94. in 95 they covered the Who's...Quadrophinia....i do not know of the Guyute reference. then again. i haven't heard that show in a while.

 

i dont know but it is my fav phish song. that is cool.

they had played guyute before 98 and it was around in 94

i have a perfect version of Guyute from Dayton 97...unbelievable.....
