I found these pills around my house in the kitchen. I don't mess around with any pills I don't know about, so I did some research. According to Wiki: "Phenylephrine is a selective α1-adrenergic receptor agonist used primarily as a decongestant, as an agent to dilate the pupil, and to increase blood pressure. Phenylephrine has recently been marketed as a substitute for pseudoephedrine (e.g., Sudafed (Original Formulation)), but there are claims that oral phenylephrine may be no more effective as a decongestant than a placebo" I couldn't find info on whether or not this drug has been used to get "high", or if it has any recreational value at all. I'm just curious because SudaFed has pseudoephedrine, apparently the key ingredient used to make Methamphetamine, and these pills I found in my kitchen are a substitute of that drug. Does anyone know more about any of this?
no.. nothing . its not a recreational drug.. its useless and will have zero effects on your conscious.
he is just facepalm.jpg because of the lengths that people will go to try and get high off of drugs that are clearly not marketed or even black-marketed to do so.
Phenylephrine is used as a substitute for pseudoephedrine because they both are decongestants. It doesn't follow that because pseudo is used in methamphetamine manufacturing that therefore phenylephrine is somehow psychoactive. That would be like saying that because opium is used in making heroin, and advil can be used as a substitute for opium in pain reduction, that therefore you can get high on advil.
Yeah, I see what you mean, but I wasn't asking this so I could get high on them. I just wanted some info about it from people who know.
thanks for your answer man. i figured the pills don't do much but I just wanted to know. I'm still a bit unclear on what the pill actually does, other than dilate the pupil and change blood pressure. I dont even know where these pills came from i think my friend left em here..
i used to have a friend that thought the phenylephrine Sudafed-PE pills could be used in a meth cook and that it would just make another kind of dope...i'm sure it would make something that is probably very bad for you and will not get you high.
