i was hot boxin with my friend and my cat was in the room, didnt even think about it and she got high as hell. she was stumbling around alot and started licking her ass but i guess thats not too far off of behavior for cats.

Yeah... we forget sometimes at my friend's house. His dog will just lay there for hours. Or he'll go nuts and hallucinate. Man, if you move within a foot of him, he'll freak.

Depends on the animal I guess. Used to have a cat that would eat my stash if I left it where she could get to it. Weird cat.

Yeah, I know. You gotta watch pets around this kinda stuff. Some may not be able to tolerate it and it could be comparable to acid, I imagine, to them. :p I've noticed they stay stoned for a much longer amount of time. They obviously get the munchies as well.

i find it wrong too purposely get animals stoned.... animals dont know what the fuck that is.. and you as a person dont know the effects on the animal.... just becuase the animal belongs to you dont give you the right to decide to give your animals mind altering drugs.... its just wrong

But if they enjoy it, you wouldn't care right? I know my dog enjoys it a lot, he just sits and stares out my window smiling and panting. Then he falls asleep.

Erik's dog loves to get high and smoke. If you blow the smoke up, he'll jump and lick at teh smoke. You can't tell me that behavior isn't asking to get stoned. But that dog doesn't live with us.

All we have is a cat. He is really, REALLY picky. If we have some great, heady pot, he'll come up while we're smoking and sniff at our hits. If he smells anything less than the best, he'll leave the room. I never blow anything directly at animals. But I blow it where if they don't want it, it won't affect them, but if they do, they can reach for it.

THC does not harm an animals body any more than it does ours. smaller animals such as ferretts and rabbits shouldn't be fucked with because their bodies are so small. But for dogs and cats, as long as they are expressing the fact that they want it, I see no harm. Outside, anmials LOVE pot plants. Deer, rabbits, ect. That's why if you grow outdoors you have to be careful or put a fence around it. But it still won't hurt them.

Sorry.... but still the point is that the pet is obviously having no choice in wether it wants to get stoned or not.... you dont blow pot smoke in a kids face and see if he likes it... i find it wrong... its being forced apon the animal is what im saying... the animal didnt ask for a hit

I worked with a guy who had a dog that you could pull a gravity bong hit for him and the dog would lick the smoke as it came up out the bottle. He would do the samething with shotguns. All you had to do was say lets get high or bonghits and that dog would come tearing through the house!

I accidentally got my cat stoned once. My girlfriend and I hot boxed our living room, and I didn't realize my cat was sitting on top of the sofa. She didn't move for a few hours. She passed out, and when she awoke, she ran straight for the cat food. I felt bad though, cause I agree with joker man, it's not right to get a pet high. How would you like it if someone drugged you without your consent? Ever since then, I always check to make sure she isn't in the room.
