Pet Peeves?

What are your pet peeves?
Mine Include:

bitches copying me- get your own idenity stop trying to steal mine. I do not know why you would want to because chances are I'm more flawed than you.

Posers-people trying to be somone they're not. You wanna know the secret to happiness? be who you really are and like it. be real and be comftrable because everyone can see right through posers

people why TRY and act young. If you're not naturally young at heart you're not fooling anyone bitch

people who act intellectual when they are really not-once again be yourself

people who use grammar incorrectly while trying to sound educated (if you don't know when to use whom don't use it, also don't replace he for him all the time as the replacement is not always correct) It sounds so common when people try to sound over educated. I would rather say who and use that incorrectly than sound like a pompous ass by using whom too much. and no I am not talking about YOU nothing you do bugs me I have this chick in mind who I can't fucking stand)

People that pretend to be enlightened when they are really just bitter and angry and unhappy and try to cover it up and fix other people instead of working on themselves

Old rich men who think they have a shot with me because hey have money...ewww I am not a whore I'm a very nice and respectable woman unless I am drunk

I will think of more but that's it for now

 

people who ignore you when you try to greet them

people who get upset that you weren't waiting on them hand and foot, when they ignored you after you tried to greet them

friends who change their plans involving you without telling you

when a friend has a bunch of people over and doesn't introduce anyone (when about half teh group doesn't know the other half)

dishes sitting beside the sink for days on end

buying food, bringing it home, then finding a rotted spot or a bad spot on it. grr!

 

people who try to tell me how to live - i hate it when people try and tell me how i'm supposed to live, either with religion, or about the amount i drink or smoke, or whatever, i hate it.

twofaced people or tool bags at my school - they will be your friend one minute and then they will fuck you over if you do something wrong.

ah yea, i'm blanking right now...

 

Here's an example of mine... Lynsey, you'd have a fucking field day with this guy I work with. The following is an email he sent out as an FYI - he is a Network admin in a hospital... this is scary... BTW - The guy that called him is actually named "Brian".

"Brain call me about 5:45 am saying Lan Svcs 1 & 2 had abend errors on the servers. They had generated several tickets so I decide I would come in and bounce both server. Brain stated that he would take care of bouncing the servers for me and email me the times. It did took care of all trouble tickets that were generated. "

This man is 42 years old. He has children. He also has no concept of past tense, when to use plural vs. singular, how to spell, or how to use proper grammar. This is an example of one of his finer moments.

 

oh also- people leaving a napkin on their plate and putting it in the sink
people who wear super strong cheap perfume
men who are not chivalrous
bad manners ie-people who do not say please and thank you. it just shows how poorly they were raised

 

oh yeah.... way too much perfume/cologne is awful. i get migraines from it. Don't douse yourself in scent, especially if you work with the public. that's just moronic

 

oooh what a fucking douche!!!!!! What does he do at your work. There's a few people I can't stand at work. there's this one woman who's like 40 but she looks like she's 60 and she got demoted right before I got there and has this huge chip on her shoulder now and still thinks she's the director of operations when she fucked up the job a year ago and got the demotion. Her husband makes a lot of money so she thinks she is the shit in her gas guzzling suv,.

 

Cops, the fucking cops.



I also hate the bottom of the bag, because it just sucks donkey to run outta reefer.

 

exactly subtle is way better unless you want to mask the smell of the corner you stood on earlier in the evening. Then go with the perfume because I can't stand the smell of other people's sex, it's foul.

 

This feels so good I haven't talked shit in a long time I need this to get it out.

 

I hate it when people try to tell me how to live.

I thought of another one. Really fat people criticizing my eating habits or anyone for that matter. But there's this really big chick at work who says little bitchy comments when I eat sweets and i wanna let her know that her ass is bigger than my entire body.

 

Well, Lynsey, what he is paid for and what he actually does are two entirely different things. He is a Network Administrator. His role is basically to handle user problems that our help desk can't solve. He's the first line of 3rd level support. That's it. No projects. No requests for service. This is totally in the realm of computers and network infrastructure. What he actually DOES at work is talk on the phone. He will spend 45 minutes "Counseling" friends. This consists of him giving them horrible advice while talking extremely loudly on his cell phone, and snorting all day. He also reads the tickets he gets to work on out loud hoping someone will tell him how to resolve them. If that doesn't work he picks someone to bother and asks them to do his work for him. When he's not busy doing these things, he takes 3 2 hour lunches, or finds a Dr. Lounge and takes a nap.

If you enjoyed that little email, I have a nice collection of his finer works. I have an archive of them solely to prove to people that this man DOES indeed exist.

On a side note, this email from one of my at home transcribers is one of my favorites...

"Marie said that when she goes to the bathroom she is getting disconnected...she said she didn't used to have this happening. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know..."

ewwwww I can't stand people who snort. I want to hand them a tissue and tell them to blow their nose. that's a huge pet peve of mine. Your email was good. I wish I had the balls to write a letter like that about some of my colleagues.
