Pepper

Anyone listen to Pepper? Ive been hearing a couple tracks for a couple months, and just got their CD Kona Town......was instantly satisfied. A couple songs were a little sketchy, but overall I thought the cd rocked hard.

Id give it a 7.7 or so

 

I like kona town too, I'd probably give it the same. A few songs are kinda cheesy, but songs like "Ho's" and "Too much" are pretty awesome

 

I like what I've heard by these guys, but I haven't listened to them in quite a while. I should try to get my hands on some of their material.

 

i saw them on Halloween w/ Slightly Stoopid (a KILLER AWESOME band). they put on a hella good show. live they couldn't be better.

one of the most annoying ska bands live. this is my theory: most ska wiht out horns sucks, but ska/reggae, skacore, or ska/punk with out horns is fine.

 

I went to go see The band O.A.R.
and they were a opening act for them,

Ska this Ska that, whatever man. I don't even know what ska is really....just a name to call music when I don't know where else it would fit. Muisc is MUSIC maaaaaan

 

ya dude i totaly agree with you, but i'm just generalizing the music as a whole. I'm saying "ska" music gereraly sounds bad without horns, there are of course exceptions..

 

I didn't mean that to sound such like a smart ass.....

What classifies "ska?" Is Sublime ska? SLightly Stoopid? Is it basically the sound of raggae mixed with punk/hiphop/acoustic/folk/etc? I don't really understand
