i don't understand it at all. i've tried so hard to become interested. even picked a team and had a fantasy team and all that. totally lost interest. i think it's me. i have a short attention span. i can't just stay there and wait.

 

i don't understand the madden thing at all. i'm totally confused. though i saw a commercial where he and some guy were singing football/christmas songs and thought to myself, if they really do that, i'm buying one.

 

haha, yea. I like some sports, including baseball which everyone hates....theres just something about football that bores the piss out of me...the standing around, the length of the game, the fact that they are so huge...I get the feeling some aren't even that great of athletes, just strong

loved it when i was a kid, just can't get into it anymore

 

and the rules, there are way too many rules, making me think its kind of a stupid game..sometimes the ref has to bereak it down into something like "when the receiver was bumped out of bounds, he previously was held meaning he was still in the play, and when he caught the ball, his left toe touched the very inside of the boundary line, but as he went out of bounds he tugged the defenders facemask, meaning SECOND AND 10 at the FORTY EIGHT *crowd cheers*

 

yup. i like going to baseball games. makes me feel like a kid again. big baseball family. love sitting around, desultorily drinking beer, eating hot dogs that someone threw at you and occaisionally stomping your feet on the ground because everyone else is for some unknowable reason....

me too, you can casually watch, not expecting anything, and then when it gets tense, its almost more so than other sports.

I can sit here typing to people, and watch a game, and everytime I look up someone is at bat, its not a bunch of people standing around huddling or looking at instant replays

its a leisure activity
