I can really do without these morons who use the word "awkward" all the time. Half of the time they completely misuse the word and apply it to situations that aren't awkward. They're just too stupid to deal with the situation or something doesn't live up to their standards of what they consider "normal." Just another example of people condemning what they don't understand. For every time a person abuses that word, I should be allowed to burn them in the face with a lit cigarette.

To a lesser extent, I get annoyed when people use the word "random" repeatedly. My reasons are just about the same. God do people suck.

"awkward" when used correctly is hysterical. Unfortunately far too often there can be a tone of mockery that I find distasteful.

How could I forget about this little classic...

People who use "rockin'" as a synonym for wearing should be thrown in a giant meat grinder.

to be fair to ya, at least in California, the intonation might sound appropriate, from the lips of a londoner it's incredibly jarring, and more and more people are saying it over here.

"It is what it is". But "no worries".

Those are the two I dislike the most.

I'm not familiar with people misusing the term.

So you're saying that is used as a general condemnation for anything strange or that they dislike?

It's prevalent here too. "it is what it is" .... well, no, if I don't like it I change it. And "no worries" .... well who the hell said I was worried.
