Pemoline Magnesium is a drug that has been around since 1913. It is similiar to amphetamines and (to the best of my knowledge) is completely legal. When I say similiar to amphetamines, I do not mean that you can take this and get high... I have honestly have no idea if you can. However it seems to work in lower doses in a very similiar manner. It was almost patented under the name Cylert and sold as ADHD medication but it was withdrawn by the FDA, apparently due to a very rare but serious side effect: irreversible liver damage. Also many of the (negative) side effects listed are very similiar to those of amphetamines: apitite loss, trouble sleeping. I have yet to find any article that links pemoline magnesium to permanent brain damage (unlike amphetamines). But that may be due to lack of research. Despite the liver damage thing, it seems like a safe, cheap and effective treatment of ADHD, and I would bet that it is psychoactive in a way similiar to amphetamines.
Pemoline was marketed in the USA for years as Cylert and as a generic. It is a stimulant. It can cause liver failure.
Yeah the memory thing was what interested me the most too. However, I found another report (almost identicle) that said pemoline magnesium only improved memory by 50%.
im imagining that a combo of this with mdma would be dangerous yes? just that the memories combined with mdma, well y'know. this isnt for me btw just curious.
