pee tests for physicals

hey this may sound dumb but when you go for a physical for school or to get you drivers licence and you have to do the pee test are they checking for drugs or are they just checking for diseases and infections and stuff. cuz i always just thought that it was the latter but i'm just checking...

 

i dont know, ive never taken a piss test for either of those reasons. But my guess is they would be.

 

Never had a piss test for a physical, but my friend says he gets them.

If they test it for medical reasons, but find drugs, I think the doctor can't tell anyone other then your parents (if even them).

 

Yeah, I don't think they test for drugs... and if you are 16 or older I think they have to keep it confidential if you say so.
I just look at it this way:
It costs more to test for drugs so they prolly don't.
But then again, I've never heard of someone having to get a physical for their driver's lisence.
I think they are just checking for diseases, b/c every physical I've had I had dirty pee... and no one every said anything about it....
Don't sweat it... quit smoking if you're that worried about it. Better to be safe than sorry.

 

At my school, they do test for drugs at physicals. However, the only reason you're required to have a physical for school is so you can play sports.

 

Heh, the whole "they can use the possibility of a drug test as an excuse not to take drugs if there friends offer them a drug" thing kinda backfired on me. I now use the drug test possibility as an excuse not to play sports.

 

Same here. Ever since the random drug screens for athletes were incured I dropped sports.

i went to a magnet school and was the only kid who smoked weed but I was the fastest runner lol. i guess since it increases your lung capacity or something, fuck if i know.

 

yeah we have to get pee tetss for school, if we wanna do sports and want to drive to school and park in the parking lot. that means literally half of all the kids that play sports will be gone. lol- it sucks so bad.

 

alright, thanks guys. i'm not really worried i was just wondering. it would be a joke it they tried to drug test my school. their is no 5%, it is 95% and that is not an exageration.

well you sometimes need a pee test, and i think they do drug test it and the parent can ask for one, but when did u ever hear one for a drivers lisence?

 

to get a drivers licence here you have to go for a full physical with everything.
