Not sure if this should go here, but I'm doing a drug report in my health class for school. I wanted to research LSD but the teacher switched my drug of choice with another student so now I'm assigned with PCP. One of the requirements for the paper is to have a interview with someone who has used whatever drug you are assigned to. Has anyone here been on PCP or has had it laced with something else? IM, email, PM, anything you have to do to get ahold of me for this interview. Not sure what questions I should ask so maybe once we get started I'll come up with some. Thx!
I don't take drugs. I hate this report cuz to me it's not really beneficial for the ones who have decided to never take drugs....
well, it almost seems that they want you to take drugs if you have to find someone who has used/ uses the drug. Now ain't that just introducing you to the devil himself?
Not too sure, but we know what drugs do to us so why would we go down that road. He also said that if you allow someone to continue using drugs and what not and you don't tell someone or get them help, you're allowing them to kill themselves. I believe it too. That's why I'm a straight edge hippie....
Aw, that's 90's mentality Nowadays the teachers are exposing kids to things so they'll see how bad they are, MmKay? Hopefully HippyFlowerGirl67 won't find someone who's holding down a $150K/yr position and credits it all to PCP ... Now don't laugh, I know there's a few out there. BTW, straightedge? I'd have to have at least a couple beers in me to stumble across that banner you got posted. You sure your parents didn't help you with this ?
interesting views...i was straightedge until i realized you only get one life and i figured~why not expand my mind?
haha, it's all your own choice now ain't it? who cares if your mom, his mom, his grandma, his dog, all do drugs? There own choice. But I still say if you are introduced to the right person doing drugs, your going to immitate. Just like whoever mentioned, don't let her interview a person making 150k a year and credits it to PCP.. lmao
hippie- generally defined as a free spirit, a twisty line straightedge-one who follows societal norms and obeys taboos. you could say...i'm not comfortable with drugs (or something). but dont sell yourself short with the label "straightedge"
I will never do drugs or drink. NEVER. I love music and know the ppl that are in the bands I love and what they do, but I don't follow them down and do what they do/did. They influence me in many more ways than drinking and drugs....
Hmm... I've really never considered weed a drug, though... I mean, cigarettes are worse for you than they are the gov't, that's why weed is illegal and cigarettes are not. Boron. It's in the fertilizers, it causes the cancer, not tar. Tar is in cigarettes and weed. Boron is radioactive = population control and profits from healthcare, they kill a shitload of birds with one stone. If you grow organically, you wouldn't have to worry. That's why people who smoke herb have never acquired cancer...
Now there's an open mind! The whole project sound's like a thinly veiled turn-in-a-friend program! Define drug! One definition is: anything which alters your consciousness. This would include music, TV, what is called "education," etc. Under this definition almost any stimulus is a drug. Now if we confine this definition to include only substances ingested (only one step removed from the broader definition) then we have arrived, more or less, at the legal defintion of a drug. Some drugs are legal, and some in fact prescribed, others are illegal. What is the government's criteria here? Always question authority! This is elemental to being an hippie, "straightedge" (wtf?!) or not. Always question authority. There is no reason anyone should do any drug, but people create reasons to use them. Reasons include: doctor's prescriptions, peer pressure, mind-control (aka commercials), etc. The government deniesthe use of any drug which has been known to make people think for themselves (drugs that are dangerous to the govt.), and to a lesser extent drugs that are dangerous to individuals and society in general. Alcohol and tobacco, both legal, are the most addictive and deadly drugs on the planet! There are more deaths attributable to either of these two than to all illegal drugs combined. Research it, this is a fact! Sorry, I digress. PCP is a dangerous drug in it's own right. In this case it is best that it is not legally available. I did it a few times in the seventies out of ignorance (it was called "T," supposedly concentrated THC). I didn't find it to be very pleasant at all. But don't just declare yourself "straightedge hippie," 'cause to do so only shows that you have no idea what it is to be an hippie! Not that it is necessary to do drugs to be an hippie, but rather that it is contradictory to hippieness to blindly accept someone else's suggestion, such as the notion of there being such a thing as a straightedged hippie - clearly someone's creation that came about long after hippies and having no relation whatsoever. 'hope this helps. (think for yourself, and always question authority)
I respect your choices,HippieFlowerGirl. I like seeing people who are strong in their views and don't fold easily under temptation. So kudos to ya.
Thanks! I need it. People at school ask me all the time if I do weed or drugs or whatever, and when I say no, they tell me I'm not a hippie or a real hippie. You don't have to do the fuckin' drugs to be a damn hippie. I believe in peace love and harmony and that's all that should matter....
you dont have to do drugs to be a hippie, but isnt being a hippie about being open-minded to everything.....including drugs. dont diss it till ya try it. otherwise, just say it isnt your kind of thing.
My husband and I have had some experiences with PCP: Some very cool, others very very bad. Drop me a line if you you still need to talk to someone about it.
