Passion of the Christ This is the best movie of all time. It shows what the savior Jesus Christ sacrificed so that those who accepted him and the Catholic church will be given salvation and life eternal in the kingdom of God.
oh yea, it was better than i expected!! it was sad tho and i dont really like sad movies, but it made me apperiate more..hehe
in my opinion, it was the ultimate snuff film all it contained was over the top violence, torture and gore
I didn't like it. I don't see how it would be the "best movie of all time" because of all the violence. I suppose I don't see how it's rational to make people feel sad over the crucifiction and torturing of a being who I'm not even sure actually existed and claimed to be who he said he was. But that's just my opinion. The only interesting parts were the flashbacks and concept of the whole Satan thing. And those devil children.....
i think it was amzing, one of the closest descriptions of the death and suffering of jesus. the film had one downside on me, now i get soppy at all the emotional scenes in any movies :$
well how do you think jesus died then? with a empty stare to the sky and few little cuts? i think the death of jesus was more violent than the film actually describes. i assume you people know details about crucifixion and if jesus died after 6 hours only that can give quite a good indication to the violence he was subjected before he was hung up.
that's a pretty dumb statement. people may not believe in jesus being the son of god but denying his existence is stupid since the amount of proof of his existence. he doesn't only exist in christian records but also in jewish (who also reported him practising black magick) and roman historical records. i've also heard from someone that there is more proof of the existence of jesus than there is of hitler.....but i can't confirm anything about that.
Well in that case, believing that Jesus existed is just about as stupid as believing that Jesus did not exist. I'd rather be a skeptic than rush into something that so many of today's Christians undoubtedly believe.
I haven't seen it. I'm too apprehensive to get a dipiction of Jesus and his suffering from a hollywood actor. Maybe he is right, maybe he included real details, but I just can't bring myself to watch a hollywood made movie about Jesus. I think that is disrespectful. Like I said, it's prolly really inspiring, and maybe Mel Gibson has a correct dipiction, but I appreciate my religion enough and I don't need a movie to show me how Jesus suffered. I will find that out myself when I die. Anyone who doesn't share my beliefs are certainly entitled to their opinion, and by all means state it, but I ask that no one here throws any insults at me for mine. I would never call anyone stupid or dumb for not being Christain. I think everyone here needs to learn how to debate and disagree without being aggressive.
You know what...i dislike how everyone seems to forget the 10 Comandments....especially the seond one...You are to make no graven image of what is in heaven above...Somehow I think that includes the pysical body of Jesus....not a bad movie though...probobly better if youve read the gospels...
which all actually happened! im tired of people keep depicting jesus as this little meak mild man floating around trying to make everybodies day a little bit more beautiful! jesus' body was violently tortured,if mel gibson had really shown wat had happened u would have felt sick, wat the passion of the christ showed was only mild compared to what jesus really hadto go through. the bible says that his face was ripped and beaten until the point that he was not recognisable
