How did you feel about their presence there, especially as you got older? Did you find it comforting, embarrassing, annoying, or did you not really care?

I was hospitalised with a major knee ligament injury. A doctor came around with a small entourage of student nurses/doctors and asked if they could Q&A me about my injury and subsequent surgery/recovery. I had no objections and after some of the Q&A I was asked if I could show them my knee. I obliged by pulling back my blanket but ti my horror in so doing I inadvertantly pulled my gown up as well and they all had a flash of my genitals. This was extra embarrassing because my tiny penis was extra shrivelled due to the meds I was on.

I've been alone with the doctor during checkups since I was 7.
