I'm on oxycodone and was wondering with new years coming up has anyone ever drank on oxy and how much. I know, I know , you aren't supposed to but I heard of people drinking on H and wonder if anyone has ever had even a few drinks/beers while on oxy? I'm saying like 3 or so just curious? I just don't want to start the new years up dead-lol
You're right, as a general rule, you're not supposed to combine alcohol with opioid analgesics since both are central nervous system depressants. Doing so results in respiratory depression. Personally, I've had bad experiences combining alcohol with oxycodone but, then again, I hardly ever drink and have zero tolerance for alcohol. The last time I had a glass of wine after taking my medication, I had a difficult time breathing. I was inside a bar and had to go outside to get some air and catch my breath. On the other hand, I've never had a problem combining benzodiazepines such as Valium and Klonopin with Oxycodone. So I guess everyone responds to drug/alcohol interactions differently. If you're concerned, consult with your doctor or pharmacist about the potential risks of combining alcohol with your current medication/dosage.
I am pretty sure that acetaminophen and booze aren't meant to go together. Something about liver failure. I'm not possitive but I'd look it up if I were you. This is assuming that you have pills with acetaminophen....
I always take a couple shots of bacardi/vodka when I snort oxycontin. It kicks the high up a lot (I mean A LOT) and I've never had breathing problems but that doesnt mean you wont.
I have said this on hear a few times before It's Not smart at all mixing opiates especially hard opiates with any other downersat all especially Alchool. 3 out of the 4 times I Overdosed on Opiates I was drinking.2 of my budies died becasue of that mix between Herion and alchool. For me It was the stupist thing becasue I would get drunk and every time I got drunk I wanted to use Dope or other hard opiates. It almost never fails when I get drunk. I mixed those 2 substances together probably over 1000 times.But It only takes ounce. I guess what happend was a few times I did to much Herion or The Dope was to strong and I was pretty drunk every time and it almost killed me 3 times. Thank God for the Medics shooting me up with Narcan in time becasue I would not be writing on this board right now. It pretty much saved my life 3 times. The other time I Overdosed a cold bath and Ice on my balls with about 100 slaps in the face brought me back. wow How fucking stupid was I to keep mixing that shit together.Please man do not drink while using opiates Its a very easy way to end up 6ft under. opiates are not ment to be mixed with any drugs what so ever they are easy enuff to OD when using on there own. They don't need any help at all !!! Please people be fucking careful when mixing other drugs with any opiates. It so dam easy to OD !!! You could mix Alchool and opiates together 1000 times and you will be fine and nothing will happen.Its the 1001 time is when it will happen. Its like rolling the dice ?
Alcohol kicks up depressive effects a whole new noch. There is no safe grounds to say whether it would be safe for the next person or not. Don't use anybodys positive advice to do it yourself, you don't know the problems which could arrise.
I've never shot up anything and want to try it. I want to shoot dilaudid or oxy's. I have a tloerance so I'm not concerned about OD-ing, but I have no idea what kind of needle to use or even how to go about doing it. What needle gauge do I need and how many cc's? Can I get them at a CVS? Can anyone help?
yeah seriously stick to weed+oxy. I have a suspicion that one reason there are these accounts of people od'ing on oxycontin is the involvement of alcohol. I read that most of the people who od'ed had oxycodone in their system as well as many other things, including alcohol. So in a sense you could say that you wouldn't be doing any favors to those who legit'ly need oxy for chronic pain.
naww, oxy + alcohol just makes it stronger, so just do a lower than normal dose and you'll be fine, obviously when combining things do a lower dose of each than you would if you were doing it by itself
You guys are right I had to try it and to be honest after 1 lousy beer I felt like puking. I have tried this 3 different times and everytime ended in the same results about after a beer and a half I was spinning and not in a good way jusy felt like my cordination was fucked up or something. I used to drink alot and seriously about 1o or 11 months ago before this condition took place so it wasn't unusual to drink 3 or 4 40oz's in a sitting. So this 1 beer thing realy tells me that this shit was not meant to be mixed. I mean I'm really tripping on it. Oh you know what does mix well and really enhances the effect? Valerian root! Seriously I drink sleepytime tea with added valerian root and it really tosses mt salad!
Don't ever mix booze and Oxy's. I did once and got violently ill. I thought I was going to take a dirt nap. It makes you feel like a bag of smashed assholes. Was not brought up I think, but do not ever mix benzos and booze either. You will black out big time. I did that once too like a moron. I blacked big time. I woke up on a beach on Cape Cod, haha.
