The past Few Days I have been really over eating, for some reason whenever I eat one thing, i start to tell myself i should eat another thing, and again and again until i am so stuffed, and it keeps happening, and it's like i can't stop, like it's addictive or something....I am a vegan, so the food I eat isn't all that unhealthy and shouldn't make me crave, and I don't think it's the pot i smoke that makes me that hungry....what adive could you give someone who seems to be over-eating? Peace and Love, Dan
well, fat makes people feel full, so if you're not getting very much fat in your diet, then the hungry feeling wont 'turn off'. do you eat nuts and seeds?
try having things that are filling. bread, vegetables like broccoli, potatoes, carrots with peanut butter on them. or.. when ever you feel like eating more than you should.. drink a really cold glass of water kind of fast. this will signal to your body that you are full.
i never knew that thing about the cold water i used to overeat a lot too.. not too long ago either, i dont know why, but i think how i stopped was to just make myself not eat or replace food with water
Yeah, its not even like i feel hungry, i KNOW im full but i just wanna eat anyway for the taste....but i tried that water thing and it worked, so thanks! Peace and Love, Dan
Okay my touchy area! I AM WAY FAT! I have lost ver 100 pounds so far and other than Xmas getting in the way will be loosing more. Most hunger signals are actually the brain wanting fluid. It is the same sense. When I fianlly was able to get that back into perspective I started loosing pounds. For the longest time I wanted to eat not due to hunger but rather just to taste another thing. I would be full and still want more. It was moronic. I hate just water but me a diet lemon tea are best buds! I drink lots and lots and other than this Christmas goody time (please end soon) I have done real well. SO DRINK WATER, TEA, NOT SODA! You all know how hard it is to admit certain things well that is mine!:&
Haha!! Ever hear of the "munchies"? I've been overeating a lot lately too, so I really have no advice, but I'm going to follow some of these that were mentioned, minus the butter thing... exercising would work too.
