Ouch!

ok, so maybe i'm the only idiot who's ever thought of this. but just in case, i thought i'd warn yall. using nair to get rid of pubic hairs is a very very bad idea. i followed directions precisely, but i guess it was too strong for how sensitive the skin is down there. i ended up with huge blister-like things and it burns like hell to pee. i can't even sit in comfort. so yeah... as much of a pain as shaving is, and how painful it is to wax, if you're gonna get rid of your lady-hairs, thats the way to go. yikes!

 

eek! yes, never use those depilitory things... razor or a professional wax, I wouldn't trust anything else. or just leave it be

 

ha, i just trim it when the little buggers get to long! and believe me, I've made slip ups

That sucks. I Nair down in my nether regions and never have any problems. Were you using the Nair formula specially made for that area? I use an uber-sensitive formula and that works well.

Some women are just too sensitive(which should be a good thing!) If you want to be shorn down there, wax or shave...stay away from the Nair, it's obviously not your friend.

 

id strongly recommend not trying to trim with a face shaving razor, VERY itchy.

 

I found these little bitty razors specifically for the bikini area at walmart. Noxema makes them, and they come 3 to a package. They don't go all the way to the skin, so there's a tiny bit of stubble, but if you don't mind that they work awesome. Much much less painful. They are a godsend for me because I can't nair, wax, OR shave comfortably.

 

Dare I ask, but why even bother?

Ow. What an awful place to get a chemical burn. Nair freaks me out anyway; I tried a patch on my cheek and it made the area go numb. I remember, about ten years ago, my brother's girlfriend used it on her upper lip (this was before they made the formulas specifically for the face) and she got the most unsightly moustache-shaped burn.

The only thing I can use for the bikini area etc. is an electic shaver. Anything else just breaks me out terribly, no matter what precautions I take. Say, maybe it's a sign that I shouldn't be fiddling with my nethers anyway?

 

yeah i know i know... shouldn't have bothered in the first place. buuttt... my man doesn't like it hairy and so for his birthday i was gonna give him a treat. poor guy, now he has to wait til its not all.... bumpy and gross. eww!

eh i dont really care if it does. he's always in to doing whatever gets me going, so when he respects my wishes not to normally but would still really like it from time to time, i dont have any quelms about doing it for his birthday.

 

The way I see it, if body hair bothers my man, and it doesn't bother me that much to get rid of it, why not? As much as I'd love to be hairy, if my hubby just really likes shaved better, I do it out of love for him.

use tweezers.. it takes a lot time, but is comfy as you get used to it.. and it wond hurt so much as well, as yer pulling the hair one by one out

When I get to close to my pubic area with my epillator it hurts like hell. To get a good bikini epilation it is a exercise in masochism or anyhow it was when I first started. It's getting better lately. One at a time just sounds like somethnig that would be done with the victim tied down & the puller doing it for torture to me. Hmm maybe that would be the answer. Turn it into something kinky. But that's another forum......
