opium poppies

our neighbor is a master gardener and she has opium poppies in her back yard (i know they're illegal don't know how she got them). she gave my mom seed pods and in about a month we will have opium poppies as well...I love opium once in awhile. what aprt of the poppy do I smoke just for a light buzz?

 

1. They are not illeagal
2. You cant smoke any part of it. Cut the pods and collect the opium that comes out. Now that, you can smoke. I dont know about this light buzz though, Opiates are pretty strong.

BTW, if you have opium seed pods, just empty the seeds out, smash the pods into a million peices, add hot water and lemon / lime juice, pour through a strainer then drink that. Tea is a whole lot stronger and longer lasting.

 

im pretty sure opium poppies are illegal in the united states..

the varieties they sell on the market have been genetically altered to leave out the good shit..

Nah man, they deffintley arent. The law is sketchy enough to just be able to sell and grow them.

im very curious about this method, is it possible to go into further detail, the idea of using opium with out having to sit through the growth process intrigues me, dosaging seems like it would a little random and dangerous tho , but if a water extraction is possible from the seeds it might also be possible to turn this liquid into gelatin and eat opium jello cubes ;D

also i must mention i dont know the first thing about Papaver somniferum other then the effects.

You can try, go on that poppies.org and read about them, becuase all I know is that the pods only produce opiates for a short period, and I dont know when or for how long. I do think though, that the best time to take them is about 1? week after all the petals fall off.
